so, while i may not have been around here for a while, i am still alive, and right now, im pretty fucking pissed. i hate driving during the day because the idiots where i live dont know how to fucking drive, and it pisses me off tenfold because i love driving and these cunts are taking that away from me. so first off, no, im not the perfect driver, i fuck up every so often, but i realize when i do, so i theoretically learn from that mistake and move on a better driver. now, instead of trying to format all my angriness, im just gonna make a list of things/people i hate while driving.

1 - over-zealous soccer-moms who think their vans are hotrods
2 - old people
3 - people who drive huge SUV's as though they had a pyramid of wine glasses on top
4 - dumb blonde girls who drive new VW bugs, giving my 74 bug a bad name

7 - bikers who think that traffic laws dont apply to them

9 - people who dont turn on their lights when its raining

Definitely the people who don't turn on their lights when it rains. Those fucking bastards piss me off. I'm definitely a very very angry driver. I mean i don't do stupid things to piss people off or get back at them, but i most definitely don't drive like most people. When i drive almost everything is put off to the side. I drive fast (typically 10-15 miles over) but thats kind of a Virginia/DC/maryland thing. I'm not the "greatest driver of all time" but i definitely believe that just because you drive slower it doesn't mean you are a better driver.

It appears that most people who drive slow pay less attention to the road and more attention to other shit.

I agree man, I just started driving a year and a half after I should've, and being on learners I really empathise with the going the speed but getting cunts on my ass thing. Fucking hate seeing 5,6 cars in my rear vision. But what can you do. I hate getting beeped at for no reason either. Thats how it is. When in the Virginia/DC/Maryland area the pace of life is extremely fast and the roads definitely don't keep up. The fastest is 65 on the interstate. Which in my opinion is completely ridiculous.

I think they need to implement a multiple lane speed limit. As you drive by a speed limit sign it should have like (for 3 lanes) 3 speed limits. The first being the fast/passing lane, the middle being the middle lane, and the far right one should be the slow lane. It should be illegal for 2 cars to be doing the exact same speed right next to each other.

It's the funniest thing about being a driver; you think that everyone is just fucking stupid. In some cases, it's true, and the funny part is that person probably thinks the very same thing.


I don't clean up around my house, I don't care for my health or anyones health as far as nutrition goes, and I don't care what drugs you use so long as you use them responsibly. BUT the one thing I AM anal retentive about is driving. Just the little things that can make major problems that are so simple to avoid.

People speeding all the time; WHAT THE FUCK?! Do you have somewhere to go in such a hurry that it's worth the risk of a speeding ticket? And what's worse is that some people brag about it later on. "I went 65 mph in a 35 zone." You want a prize? How about the "I'm too stupid and irresponsible to have this driver's license" prize?!

People who don't read the fucking signs; these people should just kill themselves right now. If they can't read signs very well, they shouldn't have a license unless they are wearing glasses, contact lenses, etc. since it says on their license they are supposed to if they've taken a vision test. If you don't read the signs just because you can't be bothered, you shouldn't even have a learner's permit because the signs are like one of the most important aspects of driving. For example, at this intersection, right when you turn right onto this street, you are greeted by a no-left-turn sign which tells people not to take a let turn into this 7-11 and gas station, mainly because traffic is always so backed up there. EVERYONE knows the sign is there, but no one cares, and I know this because my mom pulled next to this guy during a red light who was about to take a left turn into there and told him he couldn't. The guy looks at her and says, "I can, and I will, old broad." Arrogance like this sickens me, it just boggles my mind till my brain just boils to the point where my gray matter is crispy on the inside by them time I chill out, then I think about it again and tart becoming very incoherent, and it's just--ERR! WHY DO PEOPLE SUCK?! READ THE DAMN SIGNS! FOLLOW THE DAMN SIGNS!

People with loud music on; not a biggie to me since I too play my music loud. Not loud enough to where I can't hear myself think but just the way I like it. Because one of my sense is impaired att that moment, this means I must focus even more on the road using my other senses, and this is the same with every other driver. Also, some people don't know how to turn up the treble apparently and I get some jack-off behind me and I can feel his car. TURN UP THE TREBLE!

Other various peeves;

People throwing shit out their car (Water balloons, for example, as if they think they're funny!)

people who won't let me in the next lane

People who do slow down a bit to let me in, but change their minds at the last minute.

SLOW DRIVERS! YOu don't have to go the maximum limit, but if you're on a road with people going 50 or higher, the safest thing to do would be to go with the flow.

People who complain about cops pulling them over; honestly, can you be more arrogant?

boston and providence has legions of jerk/losers who are reckless, cant drive worth shit, and think that pedestrians and cyclist yield to them. as far as cyclist are concerned, its a nightmare to ride a bike. these cities were planned out and already urban before the automobile........so just navigating the streets is a pain in the ass regardless of how retarded traffic is.

dude, our highway used to be 65. now its "under construction" on SOME areas, but the entire thing is now 55. i havnt used it in weeks. luckily, my drive to school can be made on "the loop", which is nowhere near the highway.

i almost was in a pretty bad accident, on friday. i was on my way home, and this dude decides to not only run his stop sign, but he somehow thinks he is going to make the 90 degree turn, going about 45-50. i didnt have a stop, so i was going straight. he didnt even check, the ONLY fucking way he needed to, which was left and where i was, so he slams on the breaks, misses me by a foot, and fucking spins out into some grass. that just wasnt justice. i wish that stupid fucking moron had slammed into a pole or something. if someone had been behind me, they both would have been FUCKED.

Its just undeniably common in Virginia. (it has alot to do with the amount of traffic that has to go through some stop lights and them being so short, trust me Northern Virginia is awful about this)

Not necessarily. Most common complaint I've encountered is, "I'M BORED!" Which is easily curable if a person is willing to get off their ass and do something productive. Everyone who complains about the bad drivers can't just stand up and make the problem go away so simply because the problem is other people, whereas if you're bored, that's you're fault and you have no right to bitch.

I live in an entirely black South Side Chicago neighborhood. I bet I've got everybody beat. If I weren't a very good driver, and I do mean a very good driver, I'd probably get into an accident every couple of days, and a serious accident every couple of weeks. As it is, I've been in four accidents, none of which has been my fault, one of which was being rammed on the passenger side by a car that ran a light that had been red for over 45 seconds. Fortunately, accidents mean that the world slows down, and the world slowing down means that you have the opportunity to break before a car hits your friend at 55 mph in a 30 zone, and for some reason only you get hurt. Which is better.

In my experience, I've noticed that the North is full of drivers who know the law well enough and ignore it because of confidence in their talents, and the South is full of considerate, nice drivers who don't know shit about what to do at, say, a 4-way stop. The South Side of Chicago, which is basically the most Southern Northing city possible, gives you the worst of both worlds; inconsiderate assholes who don't know shit. The worst is when a storm knocks out a few dozen lights in a row.

well, i come from a small village in the woods, and i mean a very small village...i think there live like 40-50 people... and we only have car accidents if someone hit a moose or a reindeer...and if people drive too fast during the winter..and if someone drive drunk..my cousin drove himself to death in this way..and many other people before and after him, either with snowmobiles or cars..
now im living in a city with like 100 000 inhabitants what pisses me off is when everyone drive too close to each other! both in the city and on the motorways! if someone had to hit the brakes.. well i hope they have insurances...

I agree with a lot of the points on that list, see it all too much. I personally hate driving, the only reason I do is when I need to pick up something that is too heavy too carry a distance, to take my sick mother to the hospital, or a real long trip. Other than that I ride my pushbike everywhere.

I had a bloke this morning on an empty road come flying up behind me, I'm doing the limit and he gets right up my arse. So I ease off the gas just a bit to let him know he's too close, so he starts blaring the horn. I put my indicator on as we come to a roundabout, were both going in the same direction. He's behind me and decides he wants to get around the roundabout (which we're already at) first, so he proceeds to make the most stupid dangerous move and overtake me right as we're going round the corner. And then he slams on his brakes going round as he realises he needs to slow down because his tray is full of work tools and stuff. No regard for anyone elses safety or anything. I just start laughing at the fact that this a fully grown man, late 30's, probably with a family. And yet he's still acting like a fucking child. And I see it all the time...

Shit, I had a close one today. I was coming around this long blind corner at about 55 (almost double the limit) and didn't see two cars had stopped to let someone out of an entrance. Luckily, being on a sports bike meant decent brakes, so I applied them firmly and reduced most of my speed before having to swerve into the middle of the road to avoid the two cars. Luckily there was nothing coming in the other direction otherwise it would have been a very tight fit.
So today at that point, I was a stupid driver.

There is this road that leads from this one city near where i used to live to to this other city and its a straight, completely flat and perfect road to go fast on. It goes on for fucking miles and miles and never curves or bends once and its pretty open. I think he says he has and does like 170 or something down that road.

there is a stop sign, near my house. as i pulled up to it, i noticed tire marks, starting far before it, and after it. now, for the real kick. the road does not go straight, after the sign. you turn left or right. some moron when straight into an orange orchard! hahaha.

i really didnt see this coming, but someone else has fucked up, worse, at this spot, now. ok, so i said that when you're pulling up to the sign, you turn left or right. well, someone was coming from the left road, and probably needing to turn right, since, if you go straight, you only have 1/2 a minute before you're at the house thats back there. from the sign, this would be the turn to the right. anyway, they didnt make the turn, and they slid into a ditch. i saw some sort of broken electricity box, down there, and they nearly knocked the stip sign over. im not sure how they got the car out of the ditch. i hope they are seriously injured. and i hope they die soon. because if one of these fucks does something like this, when im pulling up to the sign, im likely to demonstrate how i feel about them.
