well istarted to get some acne like a week ago n hasnt gone away WTF! acne is gay....so what do you guys do when you guys break out nshit?

Use a scrub with salicylic acid and microcrystals once or twice a day. Drink more water less caffeine, go outside more and sweat. Don't pop them, it only makes you look worse.

Ok.... at the risk of my masculinity, I know exactly how to help you. If you have seen those gay ass infomercials with jessica simpson advertising this medication called "pro-active", that shit really works. It may be a little pricey but I swear to fuck it will work. Just ask me and Mrs. Malicious, it may be a little pricey but are faces are as smooth as a well lubricated baby's behind.

I used to have really bad acne. Not only on my face, but my chest, my back, and even on...... nope, you don't need to know that.
I've tired everything from that PRoactive crap to facial masks. Then I used accutane. That sutff works like a miracle. But it drys out out so much and you have to keep using lip balm for your lips and lotion for your face. And I've been sweating more.
No problem, though. My acne is cleared up mostly, and all I have to do is finish my perscription and then just get into the habit of washing it each day.

Clearasil Ultra Face wipes. They don't work too great but wash your face with some low irritant soap or any retail liquid soap 2 - 3 times a day, keeps skin clean, use the wipes 1 - 3 times a day, keeps the acne away. still doesn't work the best and you will have to stay on top of it every day, but its the cheapest method and doesnt involve credit cards for buying sdhit over the phone

it depends what kind of acne you got, for some severe cases you probably would want to go to a dermatologist and get the high end shit.
definately see a dermatologist and ignore all the over the counter shit unless its recommended by your doctor.
that shit works on people who dont really need to get anything because the acne isnt severe, its like a placebo or something.
i myself had severe acne, straight up boils,face swelling......started looking like the elephant man. the shit was biblical, id stay home from school some days because my face was seriously motherfuckin deformed, like i could see out of one eye one time, swelled nearly shut.

yeah dude i used to have totally fucking terrible cistic acne, and i also took Accutane, it took forever, dried me out like a bitch, had the worst chap lips ever. but fuck, after a while i woke up and ALL my acne was gone and hasnt returned since

The thing that confused me about accutane was how some people who took it has thoughts of suicide and some have even attempted it. Yet none of this has been proven to relate to accutane. Wierd.
They should put on the label ofthe box "Not Suitable For Emos."

Use a non-oil based moisterizer a lot, like after you shower, before you go to bed etc.
Tea tree.. oil on the pimples if they break out, or tea tree mask on your whole face twice a week or so.. it works great, believe me.
Also, it might not be regular acne, but something different. Could be an allergic reaction. Smoking a lot of ciggarette's/weed does that to you too.
And what has been said in this thread: if it's realy severe, see a dermatologist.

thats the stuff i took, its expensive as hell but works.
i didnt feel bummed out by taking it at all, it didnt effect me psychologically. if anything it was uplifting knowing<it took about a year to clear up>the shit is working

Pms causes an occasional zit, but I get out the ole man's .22 and, BAM, it's all gone.
I never really got acne. I got zits when I was a teen, but I found that not using a washcloth on my face or really hot water made my face quit breaking out completely. Just some lathered soap on the hands, soap the face, and rinse with wet hands leaned over the sink. Pat dry and don't rub. It might help, but I won't guarantee it. It worked for me though.

because of this thread, i decided to look up some bad acne pictures. i searched for about 20 minutes, and my chest actually feels sore! seriously, i feel like ive been holding my breath for 5 minute periods.
wanring, as a whole, this is one of the worst things ive seen. ive seen dead people in all sorts of disfigurement, but this seems worse because these people are alive here.

if you guys want to see some fucked up shit look up Rosecia. its common, i have it, but not as severe as some people.
basically over time the blood vessels in your face rupture, so this makes ones face red with noticable dark red viens and bulbous swelling, with most people it isnt that bad, i myself will deal with it when im 40-50 where is very noticable, all my relatives have it but it isnt that bad.
the worst cases are when its compounded by alcoholism, poor hygenine and diet<your suppose to avoid certain foods like anything spicy,coffee and let hot meals cool and so on>. thier noses look like rumpled, abused cellulite, they look like 3rd degree burn victims, its really sad.

My little brother has some weird skin disorder that looks like reptile scales, it's really weird looking. He has to put this cream on when he takes a bath.

All the effects of any medicine depend on the person. It just gets crazy how some of the side effects are even worse than what the medicines treating. Like in this case; I wanna make my face all purty and smooth (so to speak), but there's a chance I may end up wanting to kill myself and those chances are heightened if I've had a history of mental illness.
Luckly, that hasn't affected me much since I for one don't have any mental problems (despite popular belief  ) and Accutane works hella good.
Can't see it well in these pictures, but tell me if you can see a signifigant difference.

Get this stuff: http://www.shopnbc.com/product/?fam...91&track=-65102 I got it and my face went from covered in acne to perfectly clear except theres usally one tiiinnyyy blemish somewhere. Just give it time, about 1-2 weeks to notice some results, a month for pretty good results, then 2 months for acne free results! Thats how it worked for me anyways. |

shit. i've had acne since before puberty no lie, since about 4th grade. i used to try the wipes, it kinda wrked, theni tried proactive, worked a bit, then i went to a dermatolagist. i take doxycyclene (sp) twice a day, use something called Tazorac at night but only once every 2 weeks cuz it dries my skin out for that long (no lie), and i use something else i cant remember off the top of my head in the mornings. it works most of the time but i still have breakouts. mostly on holidays (like now) when i stay at oter peopleshouses alot and usually pass out rather than fall asleep. end up not showerin for a while and i get extra oily. i'm a greasy guy what can i say. i just pop em though...

My acne is starting to return. I've got two zits right under my chin.... they are either zits or ingrown hairs. I need to get back onto the accutane, but what I've really gotta do is get into the habit of washing my face again.
