i dislike that movie a lot. the sheer amount of blood just turned me off. i mean, i like gore just as much as the next guy but damn, is it really needed in a movie like that?

look at Jackie Chan. he makes an action sequence look like a million bucks without using gallons of blood.

the movie is just too... abusive to be enjoyable.

but its fuckin Quentin Tarantino, he has to make a movie stand out, in this case for an action film he had to make it different then any other, so he turned up the gore knob.

I've been waiting for AVP for such a long time. For anybody that doesn't know, Aliens and Predators are in the same universe. it just so happens that the movies of Predator happen in the 20th century, and alien movies occur... well.. way in the future. Like for instance in Predator 2 there is an alien skull in the predator ship, among other bones on that wall. Basically predators hunt aliens to prove manhood. Like barmitzva (spelling?) just more violent.
Don't forget the Alien VS Predator comics that have been out for a long time now. Oh and the games. Durh.

Chronicles of Riddick are coming too. I loved Pitch Black, that movie was great. Big sleeper hit.

Punisher may be alright. I'm a huge wolverine fan so I would rather than just dropped spiderman, dropped punisher, and made strictly wolverine movies. yea i know the X-Men movies were basically wolverine's stories, but i want more wolvie. Oh and about the next X-Men movie, I was thinking what would be sweet villians to have in it. I think Apocalypse would be freaking crazy to have in X3. Or Mr Sinister, Juggernaut, Cyber would be sweet (if anybody knows who i'm talking about), so many more awesome villians besides having magneto. I mean jeez. Apocalypse would be the best to have in it because everyone would have to unite to fight him off. But how would you make him look for the movie? Was anybody else more happy with X2 than with X1 as i was? I was dissapointed in X1 that you never got to see wolverine go berserk. That is when he is at his prime at fighting, just losing control. I thought it was awesome to see him go berserk in the mansion when the swat guys came.

Damn right! A Doom film would be excellent if made in the right way, ie, no Hollywood sheen. I saw Resident Evil and I was disappointed because it all seemed too polished. It could have been a lot better considering the story in the game was great.

I'm looking forward to Alien V Predator - should be a good fight! In a one-on-one fight I'd back the Predator every time but if you swap the humans out for Predators in Alien 2 and see what happens it'd be a hard call.

Michael Keaton was, and will be forever, the best Batman. Those first two Batman films were awesome - so dark and bleak. I'll have to check the film out but Christian Bale seems like a much better choice as Batman than Clooney and Kilmer were. Actually Liam Neeson would be better than Bale so I'd swap them. Oh, and Gary Oldman playing a bad guy might have been a better idea.

First, I don't think the word "bomb ass" is appropriate to explain Evil Dead. Barber Shop 1/2, yes, but not Evil Dead. Army of Darkness was just a parody of Evil Dead and wasn't meant to be taken as an actual horror film, if, thats how you take it.

Same here. But I know for a fact I'm going to hate it. But I'm a Resident Evil junkie, so I have no choice but to watch it and dislike it. Because there is a rule that goes along with this, if you enjoy the series like me,you must hate the movie because its so damn stupid, (the zombies are more active,not like the old school more realistic zombies like George Romero's breed). And you liked both movies, you never played the damn games.
