k, heres a new thread, hope you like it....
Recently i started a new website with 2 friends.
the site is http://www.vikingblood.tk and on this site people can find anything what is related to vikings, Vikingmetal, viking history, viking art, viking events, viking links, viking facts ect. Now i am making and moderating the activity page and i have a lot of viking events placed on it, but if there is anybody who has an idea or a tip about where a viking event is and it's not on the site? feel free to mail it through the mailadress on the site ect.

Good point, to be honest, i didn't knew the band but i downloaded some of their songs and they have a good sound. I fowarded the band to the person who uploads the site and who writes the stuff on the bandpages, he would listnen to it, dunno what came out of that. But i'll let you know a.s.a.p.

Yes darkenelf, we received the links, you sended it to a collegue of me, B. van Ede. I'm Boy ten Broeke (second picture in contact page) but we received your links. Thanks for those, B.v.E is updating the pages already so that will be online shortly again. The pages about viking history, weapons, armour, jewelry, mythology, famous battles ect. will be online very shortly aswell + there will be a official forum (simmular to the one on metaltabs) but we have to find a good and stable server wich can handle both sql as php but that won't be aproblem. Thanks again for the links, and if you have any more info, just keep on sending it, we are happy to receive it and if it's good stuff we'll put it online!

i know, i'm still searching for a very very cheap hosting provider with mysql and php service. Found a couple but this is something i have to talk over with the other 2 who are helping on the site

LOL, ok i got rid of those anoying banners of tk.. was easyer than i thought but lol ok got a small question for those who know how to handle a phpbb forum.

i want to give one subforum the courier new font and the rest standard verdana. the courier part is for vikingmetal guitartabs.

Does anybody have experience with phpbb forums and knows how to change this?

You shouldn't really release a site that has a bunch of "under construction" messages (in the viking section), but I guess that part would require a lot more work that could take many many months, so I'm not too fussed. Apart from that, the layout looks good. But I can't see the scroll bar at all. I only found it by randomly clicking.

true the scrollbar i have already mentioned to the others here, we will try to get that done yes, the vikingpart is something that is sooo incredibly a lot of work that we are still very busy getting the pages right and working but that won't take long anymore.

LoL, thanks for the other comments. The site is still very new and the only thing that has been updated a lot on it is the forum on it ect. The site itself is still under design but i don't think that will take a long time anymore.
