The Manga Theme
You know that cool montage at the begining of a Manga video with the guitar riff - what band and song is that? I know how to play it, I just want to get this on CD.
A freind said he thought it was Celtic Frost, but I've searched the Net for tabs and can't find this tune.. Did Celtic Frost do the track?

the begining of WHAT manga movie?
or do you mean the movies in general? i think that depends on the country you live in...

All manga movies, I think.
I live in the UK - we should have the same tune.

Manga movies are fucking appalling. I've seen four good ones & the rest were overdone, underthought, unrealistic gore/pussy/crap-storyline fests with less imagination than some prepubescent Korn fan's highly rebellious bedroom set-up & absolutely no basis in reality whatsoever.
Anyway, what's the name of the distributer of the movie (ie. Manga, Madman Videos, etc.)? Knowing that will help someone help you.

I have only seen Ghost In The Shell and it was very good.
I also want to see Akira but it's always rented at the videoclub,
is it good?

Because manga , or a word that sounds like that means 'Eat' in Italian. I t may be mange, but it's pronounced mon-ja.

Correct, Akira is the greatest anime/manga (whatever) of all time. The story is more dense than the average Linkin Park fan, & the animation is fucking great.
Ghost in the Shell also has a serious claim to the title of awesome.
I can see why people would like Ninja SCroll because it's pretty styly, but I'm just not up for something that queer (not meaning gay, just queer). I like boring things like Wings of Honeimashie (I have no idea how to spell it properly), & Spirited Away because they require at least alpha waves to watch. The only senseless bloodbaths I've ever enjoyed were 'Brain Dead' & 'Kill Bill', hilarious & aweseom resectively.

u mean Vampire Hunter D??
i know someone who has been collecting DVD manga series, i recently watched the whole series of Helsing
the one thing about manga in general is that the storylines are extremely thin, told in a way that really jumps between sections, which iritates some people (like me)

OK, I've been lent these tapes of the Guyver (animated) series and there's this montage at the beginning - it's like a preview/advert for all of the popular Animes.
I'm trying to find out what the music is that's being played over the top of this.. A mate thinks that it's a tune by Celtic Frost, but he doesn't know the name? Does anyone have a clue?
