This something that have discovered is quite common in this forum. Yes i like slipknot, disturbed, and mudvayne which are all nu metal bands but, some of my favorite bands are Metallica, Slayer, Pantera, Sabbath, In Flames. I like Carlos Santana, the goo goo dolls and all sorts of shit other than just metal. You realize if you limit your self to one genre you are a shitty musician from the get go. Stop this fucking bullshit about judging others musical opinions, just b/c you don't agree doesn't mean you have to be an asshole about it. I don't come in here and tell anyone Vemon blows do i, or Cannibal Corpse, or any other band i don't care for. Let's just show some fucking respect to our fellow metal heads because at least they don't listen to fucking pop or bubble gum punk.
