CD Reproduction
Does anyone know any good websites for businesses that do CD reproduction/distribution? The best price I found so far was 500 cds with cases and inserts for like $1500. I was hoping to go a little lower.
I released two demos so far and I am self releasing an album in about a month. I have about $1500 on me but I ned to buy a half stack to get better guitar distortion for my next cd. I also wanna put a song on the Brave Words magazine demo cd.
I didn't get offered any deals yet, but a few labels responded back (one even wrote a letter! wo0o0o0o). They said I have a very orginal idea and am not copying off of anyone, but I need to execute it better. Basically, I need more talent, although I am actuaclly a pretty good singer now with growls, screams and a clean voice. So if I can get good distortion with my newly found halfway decent vocals, I'll be doing well.

there are local companies who offer 1000 cds with 2 sheet (front, back cover + 6 pages inside) and cds for $1500 canadian. i'm not sure if they will ship the cds out and what the costs are, but i'll pick up a newspaper tommorow and find out.
