haha it's actually cool...for now...until it gets harder. We've had a quiz almost every class so far...4 so far. It's not difficult because we start "new" material, and at the last, oh, 30 minutes of class she gives us a quiz over what we just did.

I have three demos done so far and two more that are almost done. Once my credit card debt is payed I'm gonna get a spot on mp3.com for the $80/year or so. The reason for this is whenever I get a song done I can post it right away and have an immediate copyright.
If you like decent-at-best production, a guy who can't sing but still tries many different styles, and keyboard instrumentals, you might actually like my mess of a band.

I think he fits quite well into the self-indulgant shite category. Unfortunately, he's really, really fucking good & therefore, I can't hate him like I feel I should.
I've been a big fan of FNM & Bungle for years & if you ever get the chance to go see Bungle, do it, it's cool. I'm thinking it would've been a lot more of an experience back in the mask-wearing, impenetrable weirditude days, but they're still a really good live band. And they're as tight as a fish's arsehole if you know the music well enough.
Their support act, however, is a different story entirely. This SACK OF SHIT named Neil Hamburger came out on stage & told shit one-liner jokes for 45 minutes
ie.

I studied communication systems last year, programming is a pain in the ass, especially with the crap programming tools.
I really sucked at making PSD-s (not the photoshop ones) and my Java lingo wasn't great either, I study law now.

use other tools then, noone's forcing you
except maybe your teacher, but you can code on whatever you want and then just paste the code in the shitty project handler(esp c++builder, visual c++ haha thank god i dont have to use that one)...i just code in vi, test it with g++ then paste it in c++builder and hand it in....
as for programming being hard...it's not really hard once you know a language, just like anything else

yeah, we had visual c++ and all that junk, but our teachers check everything, they went thru the whole code and made sure we didn't use any other programs. poopy.
I agree, once you've got the hang of it, its ok. but its a pain in the ass to find your own errors in a 11 page code. with a shitty program, bad teachers are also a pain in the ass. |
