i disagree. the gameplay was excellent with their clever "Bullet-time" move and controls. A crapload of other games copied that move. I also liked how you could save pretty much at anytime, compared to other games.
Max Payne's story was very suspenseful to me too, there was never really a dull moment in the game, something might pop up out of somewhere (you never know) and i like how they delivered the story in comic book form in between levels, that was artistic.
i loved the concept for the story. Someone killed your wife and child. Now you have to find out who did it, kill them and everyone else, 'cause you got nothing to lose. (well it's a little more than that, 'cause there were cover-ups and blablabla involved, but that's the gist of it )
very fun game, i was addicted to it so much that i beat the game in 2 days. and it wasn't even my game! i went over to someone else's house to play it


Max Payne 2 looks very good, but they have to surpass the original and all the Bullet-time copycat games. I think it'll deliver though.

I liked the first game, but if the reason I liked it was because it was one of the most advanced games, I'd be a stupid little cunt. I liked it because it was like playing a John Woo movie, and it acknowledged that fact at several (2 that I remember) points. And when I say 'a John Woo movie,' I don't mean any of his American ones. Think Hardboiled or The Killer. That's why I liked it. But not everyone had to; a game is more than how advanced it is. It's how fun it is to play, and if the dude don't like it, you telling him how technologically advanced it is is about as conducive to liking it as kicking him in the prostate and yelling 'YOU LIKE IT, BITCH!' - it just doesn't work, and only gets him pissed off. But it doesn't make him unable to do anything to you like a kick to the perineum would do, so it's even less effective.

So, what I'm saying is: I don't know if I'll like the second one. Playing it will let me know. But it damn well won't have to do with how 'realistic' it is. In fact, I don't care about reality in video games. If reality's going well, I'll do that instead. If not, I don't want to look at someone who looks like me. I mean, think of GTA in a realistic manner: you'd die every time you crashed a car, getting shot would kill you, falling off a bike would kill you, cops would pull you over for driving to fast (think of Mafia), a paint job couldn't get rid of cops, your voice wouldn't be Ray Liotta's, killing hookers immediately after fucking them would make you a serial killer getting constantly hunted by the FBI, et cetera. And I still like playing Tetris, which has no technology whatsoever (if you take this statement seriously, slayme will whack you with a pvc pipe, though I do like Tetris, that part should be taken seriously). It's enjoyment. Otherwise you're a cunthead. And, really, don't be a cunthead. There are enough cuntheads as it is.

Hellz Ya theres a Postal 2, I have the demo right now. But my friend whos the biggest computer nerd has the full version of Postal 2 on his FTP server, and its sooooooooo crazy, you can pick up any item as weapon, unzip your pants, and pee on them, and best of all you can kill Gary Coleman!!!

I first knew about it around the begining of summer. I know it does not have that same feel to it on the screenshots, but the second you get that first wep. and take someones head off, you know the fun has just started.

The first part was quite an impressive game...it had a few bugs in the end. And it was too dark...

Still i miss the usage of items in the game. That's make it a not realistic game.

I don't think the 2nd part gets any better... maybe in graphic instance...but not in
playability. I guess that still stays the same.
