My dad has the comp so nothing can be downloaded unless you are logged on as adimin. Ive been told there is a way to bypass this. Any help is appreciated.

boot up a livecd (esp knoppix) and go change the configs by hand after mounting the winblowsgoats partition
or just crack his admin password, windows' so-called encryption is weak

i had the same problem before, i just stood behind my dad while he was logging in. When hes in a fuzzy mood he will not notice you are watching what hes typing.
It helped me like three times

if you really really really want it you could always do fingerprint tracing on the keyboard and then just code a simple prog to list all possible solutions to it
or use one of windows' 21897523985397825397825398 exploitable holes to escalate privileges

This would work best for XP. So the best thing to do is, wait untill your dad uses the computer, then wait untill he gets up for a bit, and when hes gone quickly make a new account for your computer, and give the account admin functions, but make it say Guest Account (or something like that) so the next time your dad logs on and sees a new account you can say "Oh its just for my friends when the come over so they don't download porn" (or whatever). And if all works you'll be admin, and he would not know.

Get one of thoes programs which tracks the keyboard strokes. You can download it at a friend house slap it on a flopy of cd load it in your computer, then run it, and when you get on, yu can check the txt file with all recored keystrokes, it shouldnt be hard to find the password.

Yeah, I still use windows, but just the operating system. I use netscape for internet purposes. Im setting up a linux computer. Just got a new monitor, too. Gonna be bitchin sweet.

i strongly suggest trying Mozilla or Opera as a browser instead, much more functionality than netscape, tabbed browsing etc (and opera is fast as hell...well, i dont know for the windows version, but on linux opera is way faster than the others)

Opera is really good on windows. My friend had it.
