Asstastic!

Well, after the long struggle and all this other crap.....................

My first band demo is done! Wo0o0o0o0o!

It consists of 4 songs and one keyboard/drums only instrumental. I am only somewhat pleased with it. The recording is decent at best, my next ones will be better. I have a lot of songs written and generally, while these are good, they don't show a general direction (which may be good actually). I recorded it all by myself and designed the inlet sleeve using Adobe Photoshop.

I have already really hit into my second demo recordings, I wanna get it done fast. It will be a lot better.

Okay, now I need some help on a few things. Can someone list for me some popular metal magazines and websites that would want a demo?

Also, I need to copyright it. Obviously I can do it the offical way, but I also wanna know a few alternate ways. If I put it on mp3.com, is it then copywritten? What if I email it to someone? It may not be offically copywritten, but there will be a day and time when it was sent.

Lastly then, for my fellow metaltabbers to get the songs may provide a challnge. I could mail it to you, but I know that most people may feel uncomfortable PMing me their address. Or I can post times I will be on WinMX and you can get it then. Then, there is always mp3.com..................

I don't trust pc's . If I feel that strongly about a copyright I send it to myself registered mail so it has to be signed for and keep the unopened manuscript. That's for lyrics/poetry I write though.
I know that the first cd Walpurgis made was filed at the Library of Congress in D.C. I don't remember all that entailed though. But if it was written out both lyrically and musically I'm sure it would be valid if it was sent threw the mail.
