Went To See My Walpurgis !!!!!!!!!! He Misses You Guys !!!!!!
Hi all !!!! Well, Wally is no longer a recruit , but a full -fledged sailor now. He even has a service pin for being active duty in wartime. And the boy looks damn hot in his summer whites !! Good-lookin' like his mom !  The ceremony was awesome. Stephy went with us and we got to see him every day. (Cost us all a bundle, but damn it , it was MORE than worth it. ) His brother and Dad went , too. There'll be pictures soon, too. He read the cd thread (I copied it) and said he misses all of you guys. He'll be heading to school soon and will be getting a pc then so look out !!!! Probably be in a couple weeks.
The kid is smart but he's approaching the rocket scientist status. For real. That scares the bejesus outta me !!  heehee It's gonna be a long time before there will be any beer for Wally though. He's not allowed while he's at school PERIOD. But he's just as nuts without it.
This is one proud mom though and I told him I'd let y'all know how he was doing. He got lots of good remarks from his superiors, too.
And spending THAT much time with Stephy was a gas !!!! Together we drove the guys crazy !!!!!! (And she snores , too !!! ) Wally couldn't stay the night so all 4 of us were in the same room at night. All 5 of us in Chicago was fun !! We went sightseeing.
Good to be home, but I miss him unbelieveably. I really do. I wish he was here, too.
Take care everyone. He said to say "hey !!" and "Thanks !" The support of friends means a tremendous amount to anyone in the military. You guys are all right !!!

That's cool. The very first thing he wanted to listen to when he had access to a cd player was Holst's "Jupiter", believe it or not. And he said because when he had service week he had it going through his head when he was cracking eggs !!!!!! Then he started with the metal stuff.
And don't worry Mr. Mod's . I won't keep bumping this up, but once in awhile I'll check it out and make a comment. Anyone can pm me though too.
