Look, I'll give you some of my personal experiances. When my band broke up, I put out an ad and started a band with complete strangers. It sucked. Playing with all strangers blows. You should try to get at least one friend with you.
The 3 strangers and I never had 1 practice.... ever. The one guy got into a fight with the other guy before they even met (it was over the phone). Everyone wants a different thing.
You will NOT find a drummer, 2nd guitarist and bassist that will just come in and play what you wrote. Everyone will just bitch about how they wanna cover their favorite songs and how they wanna sound like their shitty favorite band.
Get some recording equipment (you have a computer, that is most of your equipment right there), and make a demo.
You just have to approach it differently. Most people you meet in ads are assholes.
One of my favorite people that called my ad was this drummer who was looking to join a good band. He says he was too good for many other bands and was looking to join one that could match his skill. What an egotistical dipshit.
