I've only gotten into Dio a few years ago..and over those few years, I'm only missing a couple of studio albums from his whole solo/sabbath career. Impeccable talent. Such a powerful and beautiful voice, even up to his last studio album with BS, Heaven and Hell's The Devil You Know that was released last year. I'm truly upset.

I saw him live in '07. One of the reasons amongst many was that he was in his mid-60s and he might not come back. He won't. Which isn't nice.

Yeah... for the first time in my life, I have enough money in my bank account to see several concerts of my own choosing. Along with picking up tickets for Megadeth/Slayer/Testament in August, my friends and I were looking into a Heaven and Hell tour. The tour then was cancelled because Dio had stomach cancer and I knew I'd never get the chance. Best voice in metal, and not by a insignificant margin, either. Last in Line seems the way to go for my "now listening" playlist.

I was watching videos on VH1 Classics this morning and they did "Holy Diver." The guy had to have a sense of humor and be a bit of a kid to make one like that. I was never too fond of the song because I thought it was kinda dumb, but seeing the video did make it better which is odd. He did have one hell of a voice though.
