I guess alot of people didn't know about that shit for awhile because when I got home from work yesterday morning, the top ten searches on Yahoo were: 1) American Idol 2) Haiti earthquake...
are the majority of people really that retarded?

It was hard getting any communication from Haiti since all their communication systems were wiped out. That could be why. Or maybe people were just relying on news in general instead of searching for it.

My husband was there years ago and said that a lot of the people lived in structures made out of not more than cardboard boxes. Very sad, but they're getting help from lots of other countries which is what should be done in such a disaster.
