Is there anyone out there that loves to play guitar and you are good at it, but then you wish you could play drums, and in a way you like or think drums are more fun? Because I like palying guitar alot, but I suck at drums and think they are a bit more fun than guitar, but since I suck at drums then I don't play them much. I just got a drumset though about a month or so ago and I love playing them but I suck so it's not as fun as of right now. But I just didn;t know if any of you dude's are like that where you like drums alot and think they are fun but don;t have one and wish you could play? Hail!!!

i understand what you mean. I love to play guitar but when i get the chance to play drums is more fun to me. I guess it's because it's a rare opportunity. Still guitar is my instrument of choice.

Hell yeah man, that's the same with me, because I never got to used to play drums, but now that I got one I paly it alot but still play guitar more, but I like the drums alot, to me they are more fun because like whoever said that you barely get to play them, also they are fun because if you know shit about them, then you can just make up your own beat type of thing too!!!

and yeah, drums seem really fun to me, and i wish i could play em. i don't think they're more fun than guitar. you could do alot more with a guitar, it's much easier to impress a girl with a guitar also.
it seems to me that some guitarists wanna be drummers because it just seems funner sometimes, and drummers wanna be guitarists cuase they wanna be in the spotlight because they're always sweating and toiling in the back.

I would love to learn to play drums, but they're expensive and it takes lots of practice, plus the kits are big and loud. My wife bitches about me playing guitar loud and always wants me to use headphones and shit. Other than that it would be cool.

I started playing drums (practicing on my knees that is) about 3 months before I started playing guitar, but then, as I had a guitar at home, but no drums, I got way better on guitar than on drums, so I mainly play guitar now a days. Problem is, in the band I'm in, we're only three people (2 guitars and a drum ) and as the other two guys in my band aren't good at drums, I have to play the drums. Sure, it's fun too, but I would like to display some of my skills on guitar instead of making a fool of myself on drums. Sure, I'm definately the best in my class on both drums and guitar, but I'm way better on guitar. It's kinda annoying.

Sorry, I'm tired and a bit fucked up in my head right now, so the above propably wasn't relevant or it didn't make any sense.

No man it made some sense, besides the ending got a little messed, but I know what you mean. I am better at guitar than drum's, but I like the drums just about the same but I wish I were much better at them and started playing them earlier too.
