although Toronto i fairly close, but then I dont have anywhere to stay there for a night(and I dont have a car to go home at 1am after a concert)

Vancouver has decent concerts every 3 months at least.

Lets see... I came to canada about three years ago, spent one year in West Point Grey Academy(ugh...), then one year in UBC Transition Porgram(basically finished grades 11 and 12 in one year) and then went to waterloo.
