More and more I notice that apparently, "Cannibal Corpse" is a real tough one on all the metalheads out there.

Another thing, I'm only going by what I've seen spelled incorrectly the most. I'm sure there are tons of black metal band names that their genius fans struggle with, but I haven't witness it personally because, well, I don't hang around it.

I've seen a lot of people misspell Deicide, and it's not metal, but Lynyrd Skynyrd gets fucked up a lot, too. I'm not even 100% sure I spelled it right, lol.

I agree. Black Metal bands seem to go all out when trying to confuse they're white faced fans with hard to spell words. Just look at Dimmu's "Puritanical Euphoric Misanthropia".....christ.

Like they pronounce Iron maiden exactly how its written or "airon maiden"

actually, i've noticed one more thing: English-speaking people tend to pronounce words of ANY language as if it were English. One of my favourite bands from my own country is called Anapilis, but my friends from Ireland read it as if it were written Anna-pile-ease, which is NOT EVEN SIMILAR to how one pronounces it in Lithuanian. it's so unfair! i try to pronounce English names correctly (for example, the 'c' in Metallica should be pronounced as 'ts' in my language!).

That probably has a lot to do with the fact that most English speaking people don't know any other languages, so they have nothing to base it off of in their actual pronunciation. I know English, some Latin, and a few phrases of other different languages, but unless it's English or Latin, I still butcher the hell out of a lot of words.
