I need a song to cover
i got some new sound software now, and i thought i'd get acquainted with it by covering a few songs, before i start making originals.
i need some suggestions
i'm looking for some songs:
that have some room for improvement
not too long
any genre (classical, theme show, anything)
maybe older ones that have bad sound quality like Raining blood
can you guys help me out?

this might be too hard for you:
leyenda, its a classical piece. fingerpick it( i think its impossible otherwise) if you want to hear it, download the version by andres segovia.
and jimi hendrix: villanova junction, also an instrumental.

do the theme sonf to the old mario games  well maybe not uh you could always take an old classical pece adn try to metaltise it but thats kinda not a cover
oh and freak if your gonna add these  to all your post why not just put it in your god damn sig and on another note noone gives a shit if your not a jr metalhead anymore

all that stuff like deep purple and creadence clear water revival (I know I probably didn't spell that correctly..)
some other bands covered these kinds of songs, and it ends out pretty wicked, listen to Earth Crisis - Paint it Black or Earth Crisis - Sunshine of your love.

Video game music would be sweet to cover. Super Mairo theme everyone knows, but theres other aweseom stuff too. The legend of Zelda theme would be tons cool, or any game with a memorable melody.

yeah video game music always kicks if your looking for more ochestrial(sp) type shit check out the final fantsasy games (especially FF7)

All you guys saying to cover video game themes.. listen to THE MINIBOSSES! They cover all the themes. Kick ass stuff. Their Castlevania (1-3) covers are sooo cool.
