Well, if you think about it, Slipknot and what others are metal, but just nu-metal. It has the "nu" in front of it, but it's still classified as metal, like black metal, speed metal, doom metal, advanced math metal, country death metal...
If you don't like what they like, just simply say, "Personally the bands you like, I think they suck." and walk on. Or not.

and I reply "Cuz that shit makes me look fuckin stupid, now days gay ass Nu Metallers do that shit alot thinking Mudvayne is officially a fuckin Heavy mEtal band"
The only songs I like from Mudvayne was "DIG" & the rest suck, so goes for the other Nu-Metall bands like Slipknot and shit
p.s. Mick Thompson from SLipknot is a talented guitarists who loves to listen to DEATH and Monstrosity ...Why did he join SLipknot? He was better off when he was in that one band, I had the Demo but its cracked in half!!!!
