Haha I agree 100%. I don't mind if people watch sports and support whatever team or club they like, because what other people do doesn't really affect my life, but I personally do not see the point. Winning or losing a game/race/competition doesn't really make a difference to life in any way. It's absurd when people go mad when their team or club loses too. I've been in pubs when there is a hockey game on the TV, and seen people throw a fucking wobbler when the other team scores a goal or their team loses, and I think to myself "Jesus Christ, that guy needs to get a real goddamn hobby"

Speaking of anal subjects. There's this woman I know who's attempting  to make a semi-perpetual fountain from a couple buckets and old flexible plastic tubing from an aquarium syphon. Top bucket is smaller than bottom one. I know this has been done before last year, but I don't remember which end of the waterfilled tubing I have to release to start the syphon going from bottom to top or if I need to start them in reverse and then place what would be the upper tub on the stack. My hands are freezing from being in the cold water so long. It's even hard to type. Another thing I'm wondering is if I need to keep the large end of the syphon on to add more water pressure to get it to flow harder to make it last longer. I'm curious as to how long it would work once I get it together properly.
help? And don't tell me I can't do it because I'm a woman on a mission and I'm too cheap to buy a pump when I know this will work. I had 3 stacked buckets last year I did this with.

my CO interview went great today. I should be starting sometime late august at the latest. I'm fired up. I finally have my career lined up. It feels good to actually know what i'm doing with my life.. finally.

Actually, if they ask you if you know how to drive a towmotor even if you don't know how, learn. It's good on future resumes. My son's worked in various hardware stores and that's been a plus on other apps, too. Plus he says they're fun to drive.

You know what else sucks? My mom called and asked me if a cat had gotten hit by a car in front of my house. I thought it was the neighbors, but when I got out there it was kitten probably not a year old and the only place that was damaged was it's poor little head. I made sure it was dead by feeling its abdomen because it was still warm. I wrapped it in a towel and buried it by another kitty we had that's buried in the back yard. I don't know where this one came from, but it was cute. Grey tiger and white with semi long hair. Poor little thing. I told mom and she said it was a nice thing to do and I'd done my good deed for the day.

Paddy and anyone else with that Jr/Sr names. Just last week there was confusion over a doctor's appointment between my husband and son. The appointment desk finally figured out it was my son's appointment listed and it's not til next month, but when my husband went to his appointment they asked why he'd missed his appointment 2 days prior. I explained about what happened. They both have the same doctor and part of the records were from him and part for our son.

Been there, done that, bought the t-shirt, received unnecessary surgery I cannot understand why people name their kids after them, it's either some sort of massive egotistical power trip or some deep-seated fear of having their memory/name die out. Whatever the reasoning, JUST FUCKING STOP IT.
Of course for me it's much worse because one of my middle names is the same as my dad's, too. Mail and phone calls are a fucking pain in my anals.

Heck, we had 2 names in the household for 4 people! haha And my stepdaughter's nickname was the same as my name when she was little. Loads of confusion.
I have to say part of the exact same name thing for father and son in my case was for the family names, but part was also a dig at wife number one who said that hubby couldn't produce boys. This was the same woman who believed her mother's wisdom that if you sit on the commode and drink a glass of water after sex you won't get pregnant. She had 8 kids. You'd think she'd have thought twice telling anyone that. h'billies. Second son was named after our dads.
There's a guy on this soap opera, whatever it is, and the one guy on it looks like a blonde, pudgy faced, BassBehemoth. It's scary. Same eyes.

so get this, Flavor Flav came to a bar here in Wilkes-Barre for the night. He jammed out on drums on stage with the band that was there and it was actually cool. It was just a rock jam but it was a lot of fun, especially cause it was that cooky son of a bitch up there. Then he hung out at the bar all night. I recorded a 10 minute video of him talkin and startin the jam on stage, i'll upload it tomorrow on youtube.

Yeah, I've known people to go on robbery sprees purse and car stealing at the mall, cutting themselves, or being so overly paranoid they were just about having seizures from the self inflicted stress they put themself through. And there's no reasoning with anyone like that. The violence gets intensified as well as strength. One guy I know lost 2 days sleeping without even knowing it. So after the buzz with no eating for 3 days and the sleep his nutrition reserves were also crap and he was weak for awhile. It ain't worth it.
