Master Tracks

I thought it would be a good idea to make a separate thread for this, so that way it won't clutter up the RTT.

I don't know if anyone here is into Rockband 1 or 2 or any of that rubbish. But this dude I know was telling me that they use the original studio master tracks (separated into guitar, drums, bass & vocals) And I thought to myself "fuck, that would be sweet if you could hear some of the isolated instrument tracks". So I did some research on the internet and found out that some people have ripped these isolated instrument tracks right from the game onto their computers. So I've downloaded some from various sites and posted them on MegaUpload. This is much better than user created backing tracks for two reasons: One, they are the ORIGINAL masters; Two, you can make a backing track from a combination of any tracks you want if you have audio editing software.

Files are .Ogg format (works with Winamp) and songs by the same band are packed into one RAR file.

Nice one!!

Smashing Pumpkins: Today, Cherub Rock, Siva, Zero
Black Sabbath: Paranoid, Sweet Leaf, War Pigs
Metallica: Enter Sandman (and any other Metallica tracks you haven't uploaded yet )
Pearl jam: Alive, Even Flow, Jeremy
Radiohead: Creep, My Iron Lung
Soundgarden: Spoonman, Black Hole Sun
System of a Down: Chop Suey, B.Y.O.B., Toxicity
The Clash: I Fought the Law
Alice in Chains: Man in the Box
Motorhead: Ace of Spades

If you could have those ready by lunchtime tomorrow that'd be just swell.

Haha any of the above tracks would be great, if you can only get one or two for me, make them Pumpkins songs

That's right, I like The Smashing Pumpkins. So what? FUCK YOU

I'm currently downloading Metallica "Death Magnetic" masters from Demonoid.org. Here's the URL:

http://www.demonoid.com/files/details/1837537/6766585/

I'll keep an eye out for other master tracks, too.

EDIT: Shit!

Man, I'd love to sing over stuff from Rock Band.

PLZ:
- Alice In Chains: Man In The Box
- Soundgarden: Black Hole Sun
- Soundgarden: Pretty Noose
- The Killers: When You Were Young
- Radiohead: My Iron Lung
- Oceans: Pearl Jam
- The Strokes: Reptilia
- Weezer: Say It Ain't So
- Nirvana: Breed
- Nirvana: On A Plain

THIS IS FOR VOCALS GODDAMNIT not the fucking guitar tracks!

I don't have a very deep/cool enough voice for metal.

maybe i'll try Colony Of Birchmen (mastodon) later. Blitz I will actually mail you the tip of my famous penis if you get me these tracks!!! THX

Paddy : Ace of Spades is the live version (that's the only one available) Do you still want it? Also, for some strange reason, Even Flow and Jeremy aren't available And Paranoid isn't a master, it's a cover track I also just got Master of Puppets a few minutes ago if you want that

JoeYngVai : Are you saying you want everything except the vocal tracks? Or just the vocal tracks? Or all the tracks?

Ahhh, well I'll just do without the live/cover tracks Paster of Muppets sounds like a most worthy replacement for them!

Thanks for doing this chief, it's greatly appreciated

I'd gladly just take everything except the vocal tracks. But as long as I have control over all of the tracks anyways, it would be cool just to have them all I suppose.

If you can get all those that I requested I will be very appreciative of your actions

It only took about 20 minutes to upload the whole file. I can't remember what speed the transfer was exactly. I'm on cable.

Shit, man, sorry about that. I didn't know you were sick because my visitations to the green screen have been a little limited as of late.

The swine flu sucks... and so does its estimates: "World health Organization officials believe as many as 1.5 billion people around the globe would seek medical care and nearly 30 million would seek hospitalization. Based on the last pandemic and current world population, as many as 7 million people could die, epidemiologists said."

It sounds like a reasonably genuine threat coupled with hysterical, fearmongering journalism. Either that or the New World Order is starting to cull the world's population via bio-weaponry. In that case, RUN! FUCKING RUN NOW!! RUUUUUUUUUUUUN!!!!

No worries man.

I don't even have the swine flu I had bad withdrawal symptoms from antidepressants lol.

Luckily for me I live 10 hours away from Vancouver
But I guess that could spread pretty quickly. I'm not worried about this anyways. Most of these viruses end up being no big deal... like SARS, or the Bird Flu, or the West Nile Virus, or Syphilis.

Will you be sending that by air or ground? I'd prefer air, as I don't want it all dried out and crusty when it gets here. Ground shipping takes for-fucking-ever
