i was actually winning when it happened. Basically lots of strength + bad technique did it. My own muscles snapped it. Apparently it's fairly common amongst weight lifters. fuckin sucks though.

internal stitches + glue + hard cast for first 2.5 weeks. i'll be fine. My muscles prob can't really flex yet anyway. I got slight radial nerve palsy from the operation too. Hopefully that'll go away over next few weeks. Fuck, typing with just the left hand is shitty.

the stitches look like that cause theyre internal. Once they dissolve it wont look so rough. Plus all the swelling doesn't help. 2 and a half more weeks of a hard cast yet. ugh. The radial nerve palsy is what worries me though. I have no use of my wrist at the moment and the top of my hand/forearm is numb. I hope that doesnt take too long to heal.

on his left leg from groin area down to his ankle he has scars, on his right leg from just above his knee down to ankle more scars (where he got operated on to get fake ateries in).
on both sides of his groin he has scars where they operated on him to put a stint into his heart.
he has scars on his stomach as well
on his chest he has scars from where they operated on his heart.
all from many years of smoking, if you saw him even the way he walks etc you wouldn't fucking smoke.

i have a few scars myself but nothing as bad as that, i have my appendix scar, scar on back of left ankle & four on inside of my left forearm my hands the fronts of them are covered in little scars, & i have little scars on both knees (left knee from operation).

thanks man. workin on it. Bone is healing just fine so far, but not much progress on the nerve damage. I'll keep ya'll updated as it goes on. Next Dr. appt is on april 8th. Hard cast will be comin off and hopefully substantial progress will be seen on the nerves.

i think my dad's are all self-explantory

mine, appendix scar got appendix out while at school, & i rushed to hosp & taken into theatre, my appendix burst a bit & started to poison me so yeah i was on a drip for over a week - stupid body trying to kill me! lol
scar - left ankle, got a mole removed & fuck it looked cool!! had long tails on it i wanted to keep but wasn't allowed (that got some weird looks from the surgeon lol)
scars on left forearm, one of them is from a removal of a mole the other 3 are burn marks from donington festival in 1995 there's a fucking reason why you shouldn't have lighters lit & cigs in the mosh pit!!!
yeah & 'cause i heal all kleoid scarring shit, most of my scars all look fresh (ish) you can still count the stitches in any of my scars that have erm stitches lol
the ones on my knees, the right knee was just fucking about (prob mosh pit related),
the left knee i fucked it up, torn cartledge & had to get it removed
oh & i have scars along tops of my arms too, again mosh pit injuries lol

yeah thanks, the size of the fucking needle for the drip in my hand when they pulled it out i can still see it!! & yeah if you look closely at my left hand you can still see the scar lol
torn cartildge in my knee by indoor rock climbing, i was at this share centre place where basically young people go so that they can meet people in wheelchairs & from other sides of the community & first & last fucking time i done it, i slipped & swung back & my knee banged against one of the holdings a couple of times, fuck it was sore & it swoll up like a bastard too. was on crutches for ages, the x-ray said i'd broken my knee cap, the mri scan said i didn't. i had to learn to walk again which was fun!! but i had a male physio so that helped the process a bit lol the excersises i had to do after the operation fuck they were sore,
in bad weather it plays up big time
i'm a wreck!! lol

got my cast off today, finally. Got about 75-80% range of motion back. Should be fully healed in about 2 weeks. Doc said i can start liftin weights in about a month. Atrophy wasn't too bad. My left arm is signifcantly bigger but it could be a lot worse. shouldn't take too long to get it back to size though. The scar looks awesome, but my tattoo lost some color too and needs touched up but it isn't too bad. It feels so good to have that fuckin cast off.
