I don't think i'll be eating much today as i'm recovering from a stomach virus, but I'm going to annihilate the leftovers.

Any cool plans for anybody? I'm just eating with my immediate family at home this year, nothing special.

im about to drive a few towns over to have lunch at the grandma's house. would be a lot better if i didnt have a hangover... but it isnt a very bad one. i should still be able to eat a good bit.

I'm going to order the biggest fucking pizza I can get, turn it into a muslim's nightmare, have them put chopped garlic in the cheese, and then attempt eating it.

Fuck turkey.

I'm half in the bag and it's only 2:12. I love holidays. We get clams, calamari, stuffed mushrooms, potato croquettes, lasagna, shrimp... and maybe I'll eat some turkey if I have any room left

my plans consist of hanging out with my oldest/best freind and his family watching national lampoons christmas vacation (every t-day and xmas weve watched that for as long as i can remember) getting somewhat stuffed on shrimp/lobsters and a fried turkey that his uncle makes, then me and him head over to my family's place to eat more there. gotta love the holidays

I didn't get the pizza though because the place was closed so I went out and got some Indian food. Yum.

I got up bright and early to feed the dog and watched the 10th Annual Turkey Bowl in Cleveland, Ohio. I think that's the only sport I really like. It's on myfoxcleveland.com if anyone wants to see it. Mr. Gorilla wiped out a cheerleader when the frozen turkey went off center and she didn't jump onto the meat cooler in time like the girls on either side of her. That was funny though. And they have a band playing polkas since that's always been a big thing in Cleveland. It's just fun as heck.

But anyways, walpurgis girlfriend made a 25 pound turkey, a baked ham with pineapple and cherries, stuffing, sweet taters with pineapple and marshmallows (I could have eaten all of that!), 2 pumpkin pies, a cherry pie, an apple pie, and a blueberry cheesecake that wally and I were fighting over. I brought mac salad and my mom brought an eggnog pie. There were breads and rolls, too. It was all wonderful and we're still eating some of the leftovers.

So what's up with the Jonas Brothers playing the Dallas halftime show? haha They were so sappy it wasn't even funny. We were all making remarks about them and then some roundman called Big Rob came on to rap with them. I was wondering if they had a costume malfunction what it would be. I think it was the whole performance. All about marketing and trying to draw a younger crowd to the games apparently. But the game was boring as ever to me. The highlight was when my 80+ yo mom said that one guy had a "cute little butt" and the boys looked at each other and laughed. And not more than a couple minutes later the team was all bent over ready for a play and she says "look at all those tight ends!" Okay, wally told his grandma there would be none of that in his house. And we all cracked up. I thought the boys would run out the door. Nothing like a great family moment.
It was fun anyway. And that reminds me I saw 2 planets in the south western sky on the way home and have to look up what they were so I'll shut up now. (thank goodness, I know)

Turkey was great. Black Friday... not so great. I read news that a guy was killed by a mob of shoppers at a Walmart when it opened this morning. Several others were also badly hurt. I wasn't there and I don't know the details but it make me sad to think saving a few dollars at Walmart was worth killing a guy.

I hope the people that stepped on the poor guy experience a wonderful feeling this X-mass.

The real sales don't start until after X-mass Plus you can get Black Friday sales online without waiting in the cold all night. I'm sure the adventure is fun but also a headache. Another thing, it really pisses me off seeing X-mass trees and displays just before Halloween. I guess I'm just sick of X-mass being associated with money and invading the rest of the year. The name Black Friday is very appropriate.
