You guys are hilarious. From the texts our local news got about the debate nobody changed parties due to the debate and they pretty much tagged it a forgetable debate because they were basically polite to each other and didn't get into any heated arguments. I didn't watch it though.
I watched part of the presidential debate and got tired of their repetitive phrases. They both seemed like a couple 8th graders wishing it was over.

During the debate between Palin and Biden, she ignored several arguments he brought up, and went back to the same bullshit she always goes on about; Which is her experience with energy issues, and her experience in general. Sarah Palin commonly retreats to a comfort zone when she doesn't know how to answer a question. It happens too often.

The thing is, even big businesses, with the tax raises, won't be able to hire as many people. They will probably push the taxes onto the price tags of their sales, forced or chosen to. Obama is a terrorist, and his target is the Economy, and his airplane is the fucking throne of the US!

Obama proposed a Payroll Tax Increase, not a business tax. If you're bringing in $250,000 home then you're doing REALLY well for yourself. I don't know what kind of fucking heaven you come from, or what you consider a small business, but to my knowledge, small business owners do not bring HOME $250,000 a year. Also, I don't know many business employees that take home $250k a year either.

People dislike McCain because he took his defeat in the 2000 Republican primary as a lesson in being more like Bush, and spent the intervening eight years toeing the party line. That's why there should be this much attention paid to who was chosen as vice president: it's the first executive decision made by our theoretical next executive power, and McCain's was the political equivalent of UPN.

Now, Obama isn't hot shit either, but when one party breaks the country it's only fair to give the other one a chance to fix it. The old drunken beggar on horseback thing.

Typically they are good songs, typically the lesser known songs of famous rock bands like Aerosmith, Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Zeppelin, etc.

The Sox just won and they fucking played Sepultura. Desperate Cry. Just the intro, but I'm pretty jazzed that they played Sepultura on AM RADIO.

I'm not a sports fan, but a little tip I'll pass on from my grandpa if you want better technical coverage of games is to have the tv on the game with the sound off and have the radio on with the game on. (Radio announcers used to be more technical due to necessity.) Unless it's the same announcers doing both. Like I said I'm not into them so I don't know.

My cable got shut off the day after Game 2. This sucks since they're showing the ALCS on cable this year. I'll probably watch a few games at my grandmother's house.



I used to do that in New Bedford because there were three radio stations that carried the game. TV is usually on a 2 second delay. In New Bedford, the FM station was on a 5 second delay (way behind the game), the AM Fall River station wasn't on a delay at all (way ahead of the game), and the New Bedford AM station was on a 2 second delay so it would sync up with the TV. I only get the Fall River AM out here.
