Well, back on the subject, when I was between marriages to my husband I had a b/f that I thought was marriage material, but I'm so glad I didn't. First off he had a temper I was clueless about until he managed to break my van windshield smacking his head into it. He had his good moments and bad ones and sometimes my life was a nightmare. Once when the cops were at the house, and they were there quite a bit, one that was a neighbor's brother told me that I should let him leave before he did physical harm to me. That was a little wake-up call, but other circumstances made me decide for sure that I didn't want to be with him anymore. He'd been hit over the head with a pool cue once and his sister said he was never the same after that. Plus he'd been a crackhead for awhile and recovering alcoholic. I might have smoked my reefer, but I still worked and took care of my kids and grandmother along with putting up with his craziness. I tried to stuff his shotgun down a well pipe when he threatened suicide.
So I wouldn't wish that on her or anyone else cuz I've been there.

If you guys look around on some of the "old people" forums like I go to you'd find that there's a lot of folks that do the meet up thing. They have a bit more money and vacation time than some of you do, but it's still a possibility.
