Fuck yeah, Little Caesar. I haven't seen that cunt in years - is there any Little Caesars in Texas? Around the metroplex and eastern Texas there doesn't appear to be any.

Remember the Gallon of spaghetti they would sell you? Eat off that shit for a week.
The only one around our area right now is located 30 miles away. Still damn good but the spaghetti is gone.

I think the chain went under.
I worked for a pizza restaurant that used to be a little Caesar's and still sold all their products and dealt with their purveyors(all the inventory was Little Caesar's) but was running under a different name that was not a chain, and was by all appearances a ma-and-pa joint.
It was strange, but that suggested to me the chain was in serious trouble.

There used to be one right in town, about 15 minutes from my house. They disappeared years ago... I thought the whole joint went under.

Understand what you're saying and some of these worries are definitely worth worrying about. But I just asked my mom about it and after graduating from University of Pheonix (it wasn't online, but she went into one of the actual schools or whatever when we lived in San Deigo) she got a 10k increase on the spot.
I completely agree with going to an accredited school for somebody who is just coming out of high school who has no experience. But saying that people don't accept the degrees is false. Are you getting the best education for the money? No you probably aren't, and i'd say most of your concerns and critizism are well spoken. Regardless i assess that even if Requiem went to one of those schools with the attitude that hes taken to go TO those schools he wouldn't finish anyways.

hahaha man you havent even gotten a taste of it. i thought until about two weeks ago i wanted to be a linguistics major. maybe teach english as a second language here in america, or study some languages or something.
then all of a sudden, i realized i HATE linguistics class. i hate everything about it, and i did some research into linguistics major use. turns out a lot of the courses lock you into academia for years following graudation with a bachelors. some people remain in a school environment in some fashion for ever.
so im going to switch my major, two years in, to english. ive done some reading and im interested in some kind of office job such as copy writing or editing. but that work is largely based on prior experience so now im also looking into getting into an internship or some kind of part time job in an environment like that to both build credibility and make sure its something i want to do.
sometimes it feels like all i really know is what i dont like. and it takes a lot of hours of research to really decide on your major and your life plan. but its your FUTURE so i cant think of a better investment.

This is well spoken of somebody who is on the right way towards finding something worthwhile in life. Luckily the bachlors degree is the stepping stone that allows you to get into the world to find out what you may like. Again, just because you have a major in something doesn't mean you're land locked in something that APPLIES TO THAT MAJOR, but then again there are some really good main "easy" ones that people blow off that are arguably better than any other bachlors degree bar none. Also whats cool about most masters programs, is that once you get going in your life and decide what you want to specialize in, MOST graduate programs do not require you to have a bachlors degree in the area of study. The bachlors degree is just a basic, broad knowledge of a set field and its more of a test/weeding out system than anything else.
There are definitely some very hard majors out there, (i'm currently in one and i'm tired of putting up with the shit) but its not THAT difficult to pass college, and those who party too much and don't really give a shit easily fail to get through this four year test.
Look at Xgraf he graduated with a Art degree, that worthless, piece of.. Look at him now, hes about to be a naval officer. Hes set for life career wise, (even if he only stays in a few years)

They would do.... if it wasn't a photoshop
You can tell from the artifacts around the nasty looking area, and that physically that's not possible- we don't have a bone like substance just below the top layer of skin, and where is the bone in that hollow finger?

I had a feeling it was a photoshop. The wounds look very concave and it didn't set right with me. Plus there would be some inflammation around the infected areas.

this may be really old, but someone just showed it to me so...
1. Go to www.google.co.uk
2. Type 'find chuck norris' in the search box.
3. Hit 'I'm feeling lucky'

Easy: When it brings you to the "Now choose the house that has your number in it." screen, none of the other numbers in the house that you choose are the same as the numbers on the first page that shared the color of your selected number, so by process of elimination, they are able to tell what your number was.

It didn't work for me the first time, but the second time it did.
Though it's kinda cool, even if it's just a trick

I thought you had to think of a number before
you got to the second screen.
But you have to pick one only then.

That's actually pretty obvious. Now I feel like an idiot for not noticing that before

wow. some guy thought he could kill someone, leave their body in his house to fake a suicide and assume the dead guy's identity..AND collect his own $5 million life insurance policy. needless to say, it didn't work. sounds like some movie plot doesn't it?

estringrev,
Now learning my first real "piece". El Testamen Den' Amelia. Nice song, not really difficult aside from the octave harmonics having to be struck simultaneously with another string.

I've never actually heard that piece before, but it sounds great. It would also give me some trouble.
I was just given a new piece by my instructor. Fantasia X Ludovico
I'm supposed to be building a "portfolio" of pieces, by gathering music from different eras. Romantic, Modern, and Renaissance now. I know nothing about any of this, but supposedly it helps when playing concerts to have a variety of pieces from different time periods.
On that note, does anyone know where I can find a download of the latest guitar pro program? Just got a new laptop today.

yeah....the main problem is that it feels like society has so little to offer when it comes to jobs/careers you can make a living off of. I refuse to work behind a desk doing a 9 to 5. I can't let that happen to me...I WON'T LET THAT HAPPEN!!!

yeah same here, its hard to find what we wanna do, or, when you like something, you learn that there are no jobs for this or almost none and you need experience to get into it, but whats wrong, isnt school are made for learn and give chances to people to get a job? sometimes i wonder.

Damn dude, sound like you're doing some thinking. Good though, at least you're getting some idea of what you want to do at least.

I would never be caught behind a desk either... but that's just me. Working 2 weeks in the rain is worth one nice, warm sunny day outside for 8 hours

Eeek, that last part looks like a bitch. Here's one of my favorite guitar pieces ever by Kaki King: http://youtube.com/watch?v=VSb7whMvApo. Not her "showiest" piece but definitely beautiful.
When you're learning a piece, do you just read it off the sheet music or do you enter it into guitar pro or find tabs for it? One thing I'm really trying to do is phase out tablature completely and be effecient in sight reading. Its very frusterating.
Look around on some torrent sights, like magesy.com and I'm sure they'll have a copy on there you can grab. Power Tabs is availble free off their website, too.

Never heard of her before now, but she seems to be a really good guitarist from the other videos I've watched of her. I think this is similar to some of stuff, and I prefer it for the most part. http://youtube.com/watch?v=AbndgwfG22k
I don't use tablature at all for classical music. Getting good at sight reading isn't really all that hard, it just takes time. The most I do with guitar pro for classical music, is enter it, and just play along to it at different speeds to build technique, but even then, I still look at the sheet music.
I actually think I have guitar pro somewhere on a CD, but if not I'll end up using a torrent.

That is definitely the case over here as well. Some electricians and plumbers can get up to Ł35,000 a year which is more than a lot of good office jobs.

saw her supporting the john butler trio last september, she was pretty awesome then, but on her own so for a full set...a little boring i thought. John Butler was immense.

the funniest thing just happened. my dad came down from upstairs and held up Brave New World and told me, "This is the worst book I have ever read..... I will never read a single word by Aldous Huxley ever again." and he threw me the book. I gave him it for Christmas but if I hadnt taken it, he'd have thrown it away.

Do you mean indigestion? Or acid reflux? I looked them up on Wikepedia...
Acid reflux (Gastroesophageal reflux disease) is defined as chronic symptoms or mucosal damage produced by the abnormal reflux in the esophagus. This is commonly due to transient or permanent changes in the barrier between the esophagus and the stomach. This can be due to incompetence of the cardia, transient cardia relaxation, impaired expulsion of gastric reflux from the esophagus, or a hiatus hernia.
Indigestion is a condition that is frequently caused by eating too fast, especially by eating high-fat foods quickly.
Which one do you have?

For the past three days I haven't had access to a computer due to my laptop being fucked. Dell and I both thought it was a fried mother board, so they were going to come to my house and install a new one.(got to love 4 year warranties) So I don't stay home for a couple of days. Decide on Sunday to come home and shower and get ready for another night of drinking at my friend's house. When I arrive home my mother told me my computer was running again.
She started talking about some type of part that goes to the computer but she didn't know what it was called. It didn't have a wire, didn't fit into any of my ports and you could see the chips on the front. I was thinking "wtf?". She told me to look for it in my Targus case and I find a RAM chip and I just replace in the bag, thinking nothing of it being the part she was talking about. Once I saw the RAM it was time to check to see if it was the RAM for my computer. So I look at DirectX Diagnostic Tool to look at my total memory and only see half a gig - rightfully I have 1gig. I have some old desktop RAM laying around the house so I just thought it was put into my bag over the course of time I acquired it but, it was my laptop's RAM. I get a screwdriver, flip my laptop over, remove the screws and look dumbfounded at my empty RAM slot with the chip that belongs in that place in my hand.
I begin to flip out. Why would my RAM be removed? Who would have done this shit? Then I remember that my stepdad was probably pissed when I changed the log-on pass for the Administrator account(which is the only account). Is my stepdad a fucking douche bag or what? He tampers with my laptop that results in a Dell technician coming over in a few days to install a new motherboard.
I'm thinking he got pissed, removed the RAM about a week ago to torture me,(I knew my computer was running fucking slow. I ran all my maintenance programs, anti-virus/spyware, registry cleaner and even defraged but interminably slow it remained.) and now he has found time to put it back in but guess what? When he installs the RAM my computer won't start up! The fucking petulant bastard ruined a good stick of RAM just to get back at me for not letting him look at dildos.(last time he got on I looked in the history and found copious amounts of dildo searching)
Pretty shitty situation. Hopefully the technician can do something to fix my laptop. 1/2 gig of RAM is unbearably slow.

I found a velvet bag in my mother's bathroom that had a lace-like blindfold, lube, cock rings, vibrating condoms, karma sutra books, etc but none of it appeared to be open so I'm guessing (well, praying) that it was kind of a "gag gift" by one of her girl friends.
However, one time, when I was much younger (maybe 14-15) and my only real source for porn was the late night cinemax softcore crap I had a terrifying experience. The living room with the television is right up against my parent's room so, when I'd to pop the purple-headed zit I'd have to have the volume very low. So a scene comes on and as I begin to massage my grumpy I notice that the TV is a little loud so I turn it down some more, start again, stop to turn it down even more because it still seemed too loud, started again for awhile, then thought it was STILL too loud so I just muted it, started, and I suddenly realized it wasn't the softcore show that was making the moans and groans... it was my parents FUCKING in the other room.
Thats right. I briefly got off to the sound of my farther's groans as he banged my mother's skull against the head board.

Ah well, just take some tums or rolaids and it'll probably go away. Pepcid AC works too, it's stronger than tums or rolaids.
My doctor says I have a really bad ulcer, I don't really know why I have it. Probably because I drink alot of whiskey and eat spicy food every day. I can't have either of those until I'm better

i take rolaids but it justs a temporary painkilelr it doesnt put the reflux away forever, it would probally be worst if i dont do nothing else than taking rolaids.
Yes indeed, ulcers are caused by stress, spicy food, alcohol. Is it hurts everytime

Nobody join the military reserves thinking college is a good idea, cause you'll just get butt fucked up the ass nonstop.
Just got back from this weekends reserve duty and although it was a great weekend, i'm so fucking pissed off i just can't help it. I live 4 hours away and have a life outside of the Marine Corps yet, when something needs doing they pressure me to get shit done (during weekdays) 4 hours away because they wait to the last minute instead of catching me on drill weekends. (drills are the once a month reserve duty.) I laugh my ass off when people tell me they joined the reserve for college, or the people that ask me about the military helping me out with college.
The Marine Corps reserve is helping prevent me from completing college. Fucking bastards.
