I didnt see a thread deemed specifically for college, so if there is one just close my post and I'll go over to it.

I'm halfway through my junior year in highschool. I really need to get it in gear about finding a school to go to afterwards. My problem is not knowing where to look, I know I want to major in electric bass performance but every school I look at is either a conservatory(too expensive) or their only bass programs are jazz and orchestral, both of which I'm not too interested in.

Basically I'm just looking for suggestions on colleges you guys may know of that have a standard "bass performance" program, or an affordable conservatory.
