A lot of people own dogs here I'm sure, I'm just interested in knowing what breeds you guys own or wish to own. I myself own a Neapolitan Mastiff, his name is Buddha and he's 6 years old. He's great, had him since he was a pup. Discuss.

We had an English Mastiff when I was much younger. Adorable, but MASSIVE!!!!! About 180 pounds. And drooled like nobody's business.

I have a mutt, a mutt, and another mutt. I want a great dane, but I never buy dogs or anything...they just show up in the yard and we end up keeping them.

used to have a miniature schnauzer, which was a great dog, since then i've had a chocolate lab and whippet in my care. the lab was an awesome dog, the whippet was cool but wasn't housebroken so that shit had to end before the owner was originally taking the dog back. my parents have a "labradoodle" which is obviously a mix of a lab and poodle. that dog kicks ass..was a rescue and seems like it may have been mistreated in the past since it is scared of a lot of things.
one day i'd like to raise a german shepard from a pup.

puppies get real skittish , theres a phase where theyre scared of everything. you have to introduce them to the scary stuff or theyll be forever fearful i think. like i let my dog outside, and when she came running back in she was terrified of a few bags set out in the kitchen. she also flipped when a water bottle (empty ) fell from my counter next to her hahaha , she was pouncing and stuff it was pretty funny

Got an old pure-bred Beagle named Sammy and a one year old Pikapom named Gizmo. He fucking RULES.
I'd really like a bigger dog.. a Boxer or a German Shep. but I don't think that'll be happening.

how do those compare with bull mastiffs?
Currently, I own a Great Dane/Belgian Malnois mix, brindle colored. She is a badass and I love her to death.
I used to own a Borzoi (Russian Wolf Hound) and a long haired Whippet. Those dogs could run fast as fuck and would frequently hop the fence and cause havoc. We had to give them away for their safety. I remember, one time, the Borzoi ran into a parked car. LoL. that shit was funny as fuck. |

They are just of the same dog family, just a different breed. Bull mastiffs are a relatively newer breed, neapolitans are one of oldest breeds around.

in my family we have three dogs. at first it was supposed to be just one dog, but when she was about four years old she ran away for a while and few months later we had puppies allover the place  ..and it ended with keeping two of them. this happened for about three years ago, and one of them had puppies of her own too, just like her mom  .. but we didnt keep another one this time.
The first dog is a mix of yellow labrador and finnish lapland dog. The others are the same we think..but they dont have the same lab looks like their mom.
i had a rabbit once..he died at the age of 12
