haha i wondered what the fuck was going on...i accidentally edited my post rather than quoting it. i guess i should lay off the internet when my eyes are half closed and i still feel drunk from last night.

they kicked everyone out of the backstage and took it over apparently. leaving the drummers in the cold club with no real way to warm up before playing a show

they come out, play a few songs, play like HALF of chopped in half before medleying it into turned inside out. chopped in half was all slow and terrible. then about 30 minutes in everyone walks off stage and leaves poor ralph santolla alone up there, he did his best to solo for about 10 minutes but was playing pretty sloppy. he kept looking to the side of the stage like what the hell guys. finally they come out with NO explanation , play a few more songs, and walked off stage having been on there for about 55 minutes (INCLUDING their 10 minute hiatus). everyone was pissed so they begrudgingly came out for an encore and played a few songs. not once did tardy say "whats up clifton park" or "hows it going" or ANYTHING, he just said "this is ... from ....". the crowd was pissed and violent in a bad way, there were a bunch of hardcore dancers there for merauder but stuck around for obituary. it was just ugly

it had a lot of the sweeping patterns from reciprocal, but then it had breakdowns too. slow parts and stuff... it was much more varied so its going to blow everyone away. its all positive changes from what i could hear. john is insane too (hes a little heavy, i cant picture anyone moving that fast)

niles not a great comparison but then again nobody really compares. i have no idea when its due out though because i havent seen any art, tracklisting, label news, or anything. glad i got to hear it so early

DB were good before, but weren't doing anything special, or original. They were pure speed and brutality, so a creative change with more varied riffage outside of chromatics can't be bad.

It's the very best in the contra series, the pinnacle of awesomeness for konami [except super castelvania, thats even better]

But Probotector is infinitely better than Contra though, simply for the fact that the protagonists are robots.

Shit no wonder I feel old. From age 20 to 23 I smoked two packs a day, and when I shared with my roomate, we'd go through 2 and a half packs each. I started when I was 18 and quit cold turkey in July (I'm 24 now.) Cold turkey is the only thing that worked. When I get insane cravings I usually just think about how stupid it would be to fuck up all that work I put towards quitting and how I'd feel like shit afterwards. Keep up the good work, BB.

god damnit i am not happy. i have a final at 330 today. i left my house at 11 where it was sunny, bright and chilly (around 30 f). its about 45 minutes to drive to my college, so i was going to get there early and get my tv and fridge out of my dorm room because im moving. 30 minutes into the drive im only going 50 along with everyone else and its kind of snowy. 40 minutes in im going about 20, pass two accidents, and a car facing the wrong goddamn way trying to merge back on the highway. low traction light going off on car and im slip sliding all around. 50 minutes in and all signs of lanes have dissappeared and everyones going like 15. i was very relieved when i got to college unscathed. only problem is i have NO shit here so i cant really spend the night... i have one pillow, everyones partying in my suite because most people dont have finals so itll be noisy, etc.

extra fun bonus is that im working tomorrow at 10 am back up in saratoga so i HAVE to get up early ish tomorrow even if i did sleep here. snow is scheduled to slow down around 9 pm but they didnt expect it to start until like 5 so what the hell do they know
