Ottawa won't win again for the exact same reason as last year. Those big Western conference lads just lay down a huge beating and the East cannot take it. Look for Vancouver or Detroit to take it.

i too generally only follow the play offs. sometimes i'll sit down and watch randomly with friends and beers. been to a few games here and there over the years. did i post a bunch of pics from a game i went to not too long ago? was the lightning vs. rangers. sat right up along the glass.

I was big into hockey when I was a kid. And for those of you that don't know, Sidney Crosby lived down my old street in Cole Harbour in a town house..I used to play street hockey with that little bastard. He was even good when he was 5-6 years old, although still a whiny cunt even back then.

In the past couple of years I've gotten back into hockey..it's hard not too considering it's basically a religion up here.

last night i sat down with a dark wheat beer and watched most of the sabres vs the maple leafs. toronto was up 2-0 for 2 periods..then in the 3rd (in the minute or so i was surfing around on other channels), the sabres put up two points within 37 seconds of each other! in retaliation, toronto put another one in the net making it 3-2. time was winding down and the sabres tied it up again. then AGAIN toronto scored taking it to 4-3. just when you think buffalo lost, they tie it up and the game goes to overtime. almost the whole OT period goes by, it's looking like it's going to a shoot out..then buffalo gets one in and wins the game. it was fucking awesome.

funniest thing was watching the crowd. since both cities aren't too far apart, there were lots of fans from each team. half the stands would flip out and cheer when their team scored while the other half was shut up, then a minute later they'd switch.

I saw the highlights for this game..the winning O/T goal for Buffalo was scored by a Toronto Defenceman.

Lucky. Canada played so poorly in the third period, what got me though was when Canada with 20 seconds left gets called for icing. Any good player or coach will tell you to pound that puck out into the netural zone, yet some cunt tries a stretch pass. What happenes? Canada loses the draw in their own end and bam those nordic fuckers score. I cannot believe that Hartssburg didn't rip that kid a new asshole.
