It was a Bands-wide ban of bringing Varg up in virtually every thread. Never be so much fun again.

Fuck that for them being docile. I was walking home from the gym the other day and I heard one barking a few houses down from my vision. Anyways, while I walk by the house, the godamn thing lunges at me and starts attacking my shoe/shoelaces. If it wasn't tied to a tree who knows what it would have attacked, but it was just short of my body. The owner was outside painting his front porch and was saying "oh, you're going to get it!" I just laughed it off because it was fairly entertaining. But still, fucked up shit. The fucking thing was out for blood.

Pretty dull way to earn some money but if you're in E-nerd, I guess it works.

I recently did some mystery-guest stuff. It's pretty cool, I have a job but I know a guy who does that stuff for a living and writes for magazines with some of the outcomes. He asked me if he could drop my name if any interesting testcases came up.

So after a few weeks, something did came up and I they asked me to check how the local Audi dealer handled their young potential customers. Took a testdrive in the new Audi A5 and got paid 50 euro to do it. Just had to fill in a questionnaire and that was it. Took me like two hours and I got to ride an awesome car.

It was pretty amusing, just had to dress up a bit to be convincing, instead of wearing an old pantera shirt and adidas trainers I sported my hugo boss suit haha.

The guy I know also does the mystery guy thingy for Heineken, which simply is buying two beers and observing everything the barchick does. And getting paid for it!
I think it's a bit too much of an effort to make a living out of this but for students it's good fun, I bet they have the same kind of things over there in the U.S.?

i dont know who youd have to get in contact with to do that kind of work. i dont think it translates, even :P because mystery guest doesnt really work as a job title i dont believe. sure you could do this kinda thing for a newspaper or magazine though

anyway, working a few hours a weekend at a recordshop works fine for me during class time

well went to my first hot food gathering today. was called the "i like it hot festival" lots of great sauces and jellies to try. the jelly was a new one for me..never had spicy jelly/jam but it was awesome..should've bought a jar. got two bottles of hot sauce and a few sticks of jerky (spicy pepper buffalo, teriyaki venison, and mild alligator). surprised i haven't eaten one or all of them yet.

i just dont like the smell (indoor shows). i never like other people's smoke, and when we are indoors, i HATE the smell that stays on my clothes, and hair!

in new york state, theres a zero tolerance law. someone over 21 has a legal blood alcohol limit. but if youre under 21 and youre under the legal blood alcohol limit you still get in a ton of trouble. under the idea that you shouldnt have any alocohol in you at all. its a tough law, but i guess if it keeps the streets safer to drive on its what we need in this country. tons of kids i know drive drunk all the time

I miss being in moshpits of bars with a beer and a smoke and bieng able to throw it on the ground at anytime. That is metal. I remember being 15 and smoking inside restaurants. I think it's 16 in Canada you can legally smoke, but have to wait until you're 19(or 18 in some provinces) to smoke.


Seriously though..we see a lot of rain being almost completely surrounded by the Atlantic. The weather is terrible for smoking.

Doesn't happen here often. Kids know the dangers of alcohol because they learn at a young age. Drinking age is 16, driving age is 18, makes sense huh.

I agree with the restaurant parts, we don't have a smoking ban yet but I heard about Ireland and their results.

They have had the smoking ban for quite a while now, the results are pretty positive but there was also something very funny that was mentioned...
Because there's no smoke in the air you can smell everything, imagine tons of beer farts withouth the smell of cigarette smoke to cover it up.
