Sickening
My mother took me out to eat today at a local Chinese restuarant. On our way back we spot a local city work truck dumping waste over the bridge into a small stream that runs through a few miles of our town into a moderately sized lake. Don't really know why I'm making a thread over this. I wanted to hear all your opinons on this and how I should respond. There was no type of camera at hand so we couldn't get pictures. By the way, this lake is one of our sources for water.

I remember a few years ago the Dave Mathews Band tour bus got caught dumping their shit(literally) into a river off of a bridge.

Call and say you want to report it anonymously. Do the star 68 thing so the call isn't traceable if you're concerned about that. Tell them what you saw and if you caught a license number or anything about the vehicle.

yeah the plates are the more important thing, that way if and when you do report, your copmlaint sounds more legit. i figure if you just report a truck dumping crap in the river, they wont take it as serious cause it could just be some punkass teenager calling in starting some shit.

If he didn't get the plates some distinguishing marks might help. The 10-wheeler truck that hit my neighbor's mailbox didn't have plates, but when I called in to report it the cops knew exactly whose truck it was and told me a location to come to to ID it.
