Stewart for sure. Not that I don't like Colbert but Stewart has a lot more experience and it shows (he's very natural). I also feel that Stewarts interviews are a lot more interesting to watch.

That's about how my hubby feels as far as tolerance. I like them both. Stewart cracks up at himself which I like. Colbert gets so sarcastically pious that I think it's hilarious. I like the interviews they both do.

Colbert has pure satire going for him.
Stewart is a bit more "pure" if you understand what I mean.
I enjoyed them both when I had tv, but I'd pick Stewart.

brains, they're 2 guys who have news type shows on Comedy Central. They have politicians and writers on there a lot, but they're pretty funny. There's probably some of their stuff on youtube if you can access that.

These are two of the very few late night talk shows that don't bore me to tears. The other is Conan.
As for the shows, I favor the Daily Show over the Colbert Report. As for hosts, I think they both do a great job of what they are supposed to do.
