Melodic Thrash?
Is this even a genre? If so what bands are considered Melodic Thrash?
Also What do you guys think of my band?

Is that even possible? It's an oxymoron. It's like saying melodic goregrind.

That's the closest band to this fake, yet possibly, ambiguous genre.

Good thrash usually has melodic lines anyway. Overkill from what I've heard can be melodic, along with metallica. Coroner even have melodic points.
Slayer don't have any, and suck.

Yes, Testament.
And Dimension Zero... I read a few reviews that said Dimension Zero are a very melodic mixture of thrash, black and death.

I beg to differ.
You see I don't consider certain bands melodic death metal simply because they sound too thrashy.

Too many thrash bands are melodic for you to make that comparison.

I suppose you could consider Thrash bands with vocal melodies such as Heathen and Anthrax to be 'melodic'. Also, some bands play more melodic solos such as Laaz Rockit, Forbidden and Annihilator. It's down to whatever the listener considers to be 'melodic'.

It's a case of over classifying music, which has become really bad in the last few years for metal. Some thrash is melodic, and some ain't and thats all there is to it.

Isn't MElodic Thrash just another word for "Power metal?" Or am I crazy?

Pretty much, but not exactly. Is Blind Guardian very thrashy?

Sometimes people feel the need to micromanage everything into neat, little packages that ignore the vast grey areas that make life interesting.
A great deal of thrash bands incorporate melodic elements to various levels. At least with DM, the melodic death bands are not only in the minority, but incorporate those melodic elements more heavily than any thrash bands. Taking that into consideration, it doesn't seem logical to me to subcategorize certain bands as melodic thrash.

I've heard the argument for Death being more Meoldic Thrash than actual death metal, and I somewhat agree...at least, after Scream Bloody Gore.
