Name these riffs
inspired by the thread below "name this riff"... some people thought it was gonna be a quiz but were disappointed, so hey lets make one. I've done 5 pissant little clips, i'll rapidshare them. They're not hard, hopefully everybody knows at least 2 or 3 of them.
Afterwards I hope some other people who can record their guitar post up their own riffs to guess... this will mostly be used to show off guitar chops, i'm sure of it

How about just posting tabs for the riffs to make it less easy?

4 is an iron maiden song yes, but which one?... 3 is Circle of the Tyrants, you're right. 1 is part of a viking metal song, 2 is a 80s thrash/black metal tune that has been covered by a modern gay band, and 5 is from one of the best known Norwegian 2nd wave black metal bands. Just as hints.

why, you think it sounds decent?  My guitar is an Ibanez RG 7321 with blaze pickups, direct recorded with some digitech thing I have. I think it's called a genesis 3, I would have to check at home, it's a blue multi effects box with no floor pedals. I just use for jamming with heapdhones and occasionally quiet pc recording. |

#3 is Celtic Frost (Circle of the Tyrants), which made me gag. #4 is Iron Maiden (Prisoner), which made me smile. I can't put my finger on #5, and I have no clue on the first two.
