stanley kubrick. insane or genius?
i just saw 2001: a space odyssey, and i dont know what the fuck was goin on.
i've seen most of kubricks films and felt the same way.
i was just wonderin what everyone interpretations of the films are?
i understand full metal jacket and the shinning,
and i think i understand a clockwork orange.
i think a clockwork orange is very over rated, but i guess for it's time it would have been impressive.
what do you think????????

The Shining was great, but most of that credit should go to Stephen King...Clockwork Orange was alright, but I don't remember it too well, and yeah it seems to be overrated with people just trying to be fucked up by saying "oh Clockwork was a sweet movie!" and such, I'm tired as hell, but I know what I'm talking about, lol.
I don't remember any of Kubrick's other movies that I've seen...

I havenīt seen so many of his films, but I did see 2001, I didnīt understand it at all. But swedish television is gonna show eight of his works plus a documentary in the next couple of weeks, and Iīm probably gonna see most of them. Unfortunately Dr. Strangelove isnīt included, which is one I would definitely like to see.

i think the dude (kubrick...king too) is very intelligent.
A clockwork orange was a very intriguing concept. The same with full metal jacket.
I actually just saw that for the first time 2 weeks ago, and i think it's an excellent movie.
