Strange
I wasn't too sure where to put this and I wanted a good response.
So anyway, I had a huge fucken night last night. I got pretty drunk, and I basically just went party hopping all night and ended up home about 8 am.
Now I'm playing guitar and listening to music but the most crazy thing is happening that I never done before. All the music I hear, and all the notes I play, and every time I tune, my pitch is out by 1 note, like a half of a step. This has never happened, I've always had great pitch, any other day I can tune to a perfect E, D, C, B whatever. My pitch has always been awesome. So when I tune my guitar to play a song and I'm half a step out I'm like, what the fuck is going on. And all the music I'm listening to, everything that I know off by heart, seems as if it is half a step higher. It's so.fucking.strange.
Could it just be the after effects of alcohol messing with me like combined with fatigue or something? It's never happened and I sorta pride myself on my good ear [it was always cool to tell people that were better players than me that they were out of tune and them check it and me be right] so if you get what I mean.
I put this in the Chit Chat so I would get a good response because it's worrying me a bit.
Thanks

It is clear evidence that you are becoming homosexual.

I think people have posted with very similar problems (to the accuracy of the same problem, one half step). I reckon you'll wake up tomorrow and be fine. If not tomorrow, then give it about a week or so, and if problems persist see your doctor. If not, then just get smashed 11 more times, each time raising your ear by a semitone, and you should end up an octave higher, good enough with the hertz.

Stop sucking your own cock and get a tuner. They come in handy.

He can use a tuner and suck his own cock both if that's what he wants.
Drinking affects your hearing; bartenders are trained to tell if somebody's drunk by the level of their voice, and most drunks can't sing on pitch, or even hear on pitch, while drunk. Not a huge surprise if it carries over with a particularly bad hangover. Best to wait and see what happens.

Yeah, it's Metaltabs and I'm a musician. It's a really really fucking stupid thing to worry about my pitch, who cares about tabs or music? I notice the people against me are the ones I've upstaged in the past. Shame.

Maybe the people who are against you, are against you because you are offensive, and obnoxious. I seriously doubt it has anything to do with being upstaged.
And said previously in this thread, you should really stop sucking your own cock.

As far as I'm concerned, showing people up has nothing to do with tabs, or music.

I've had this happen to me after gigs, and I think it's do to with the noise and perhaps the drink and how it affects your ears and brain. It causes like some Doppler effect in your head.
Me and my mates also have an in-joke known as the 'UFO effect', where everything sounds flanged after a noisy gig.

This thread should stay open... so we can periodically bump it to remind other users of just how much of a dumb ass Infinity is.
