USO's
I was watching a show on USO's Unidentified Submerged Objects. And i saw the largest sighting was in Nova Scotia and i knew we had at least one member from there. Just wondering if anyone knows anything more about this?

I can neither confirm or deny what you seen on TV. USO is pretty general, but I don't believe what you seen was from another world.

USO's are common actually. For most of the public they are subs. Military subs are very scary if you ever see or pick them up unexpectedly.
For subs its different though. USOs are normally whales that just hump the sub, do their business, and leave. Sometimes a Giant squid will try and eat the sub.

I found some interesting site about USO's and other mysterious things. And after an hour I found myself reading about The Mysterious Ring Of Atlantis. I always get hooked on these kind of things. I wish I was a scientist.

I would completely shit my pants if I was swimming in the deep ocean and saw a faint sub outline underneath me. Matter of fact, thinking about it now has sent shivers down my spine.

how'd you like to report that back to your commanding officer?
Captain: What the hell's going on? Why are we shaking?
tech: It seems as if..... a giant whale..... is dry humping the outer hull.

what happens then? does someone have to go outside and fight it hand to hand? or do you just give it an electric shock. and how big is a giant squid? does it even exist?

Sorry for being ignorant in this field, but why? Wouldn't the sub just ignore you?

haha, well considering the amount of Whale Watching tours we have in the Halifax/Dartmouth area, not to mention a main Canadian naval port(which see to a lot of American/British/French vessels as well)...I'd assume it was either a whale or one of our submarines.

Yep, its finally been visually confirmed. We've posted i think twice about it not too long ago in the Science thread.
I read USO's and i was thinking the USOs around america that takes care of service members. Those places rock.

This is a Giant Squid, theres even larger this is what a found in a few seconds on google though: http://www.theage.com.au/ffximage/2...__470x446,2.jpg
It said that they usually end up flying out of the water and stuff. It captured my attention more than UFO's I guess they're both though, haha. Just found it interesting. Now knowing that Military and large amounts of civilians are in nova Scotia its not a surprise any more theres been "sightings" They have the large signs posted all over the place, like road signs. I think theyre trying to make money off of it.

there were some posts about them not long ago..maybe in the awesome science thread? according to some article that was on the bbc news site, there are 3 known species of large squid. the one in that picture looks like the smallest of the group.

I just watched the show myself, History Channel right. That's pretty interesting stuff. It's hard telling what that is, but I do know that it's pretty hard to imagine that the military had that type of technology back in 1967.
