KILL most definitely. I liked TSOR, but it gets too repetative for me.... then again, I'm a bigger fan of CC than I am of Deicide, so that may be why I liked KILL better.
Both are great, though.

The Stench of Redemption by far. I love Cannibal Corpse, but TSOR is way way better. Jack Owens is sounding like hes at his prime again. Kill is amazing, brutal as hell, and in your face the entire album, but no one plays like DEICIDE...

I hated Kill. In fact I hate most new CC Material. The Stench Of Redemption by far the better of the two.

His over the top vocals work well on the two newer albums, but I find it gets irritating in places on the debut album. I only have these 3 albums so I don't know about the others.

Glen Benton is one of my favorite extreme metal vocalists of all time, his grunt is far more vicious and convincing than a lot of other Frank Mullen impersonators.

The riffs on Kill are awesome and pretty tough. I'm still going with Deicide on this one though because this album was so much better than the shit they'd put out in the last ten years.

song for song kill is pretty good. but at the end you realize all that you were listening to was blast-beats, except for infinite misery. that kicks ass. so all of the songs on kill are cool, but it just doesn't come together as an album for me

I'm not sure that's true, but if it is, that's fine for me, personally. I usually only get to listen to music for 15-30 minutes at a time while getting ready to go somewhere (work, school) or on my way to and in between classes. In those situations, you just listen to various songs. With the exception of Death Walking Terror, I like every song on the album and love at least half of them. To me, that it is a quality fucking album.

Exactly, CC just put me to sleep when I actually pay attention to their music. It's like Incantation, ok as "background death metal"  Acceptable for playing a videogame or something to it.

I fail to see how Stench of Redemption is different from the same old shit they've been recycling for ages now. Maybe everyone is all like "OOOH, Jack Owen, now it's somehow different even though he didn't write any of the songs." I'm more like "hmm, this is just like Scars of the Crucifix, which was also touted by fanboys as Deicide's return to prominence and greatness but mysteriously sounded like the rest of their mediocre shit." There's more than a few good tracks (i.e. title track) and nothing is offensively bad, but that's the only positive thing I can say about it.

I'd definately say that Kill is a better album than the Stench of redemption...I believe Deicide are washed up and don't have much more to offer, like the last person stated, mediocre shit. The band hasn't made a GREAT album in a while, just a couple good songs on each album, then the rest blend into one...as for Kill by Cannibal Corpse I think is a great album, and is Cannibal Corpse style but not just having the identical sound, in my ears anyway. One more thing about Deicide too.,..I'm fucking sick of the overdone anti-christian, i hate jesus shit, when thats all they've ever done...and apart from anything the last interview with Glen Benton I read he talked more about his kids than anything else.

Stench is the best album Deicide have put out in years. There is absolutely nothing wrong with it, it kicked ass.
