ive been on a mission to discover the most hardcore, brutal, extreme form of metal on the face of the planet. I have been listening to death metal, and hardcore for a while. Is there anything more brutal/faster/extreme than Suffocation or Cannibal Corpse, i need something that when after i listen to it my mind goes into "holy shit" mode and i am in shock of the brutality... the Quest continues!!!

Some good suggestions in here. LDoH is impossibly unpleasant. Was just thinking about the definition of 'extreme' though... surely we can find something experimental that's more utterly distorted/white noised than the bands so far are.

Obsura is far from brutal. However it is extreme... extremely shit.
I love most gorguts, but I can't stomach a second of that painfest.

King Diamond is certainly not brutal, fucking dumb.

Meshuggah isn't brutal. They're rythmic. And get fucking boring.

FBS: I checked that harsh noise shit you were talking about and it didn't really affect me. I just remember a high pitched distorting sound during most of the songs. Maybe with more layers it could live up to it's name; that's just what I heard though, a few songs of that German band you posted.
