god hates me.

anyeah, external modem>pc with a dialup connection, didn't work, modem error, its fucked.

internal modem now, installed fine, all drivers installed, all dandy, however, then i try to connect and... no magic.

what happens is it picks up the phone so to speak, but it doesn't hear the dial tone, therefore does not want to dial anything. ive moved it to another pci port and everything, reinstalled everything, made a new ISP connection, tried to make it so it doesnt need the dialtone to dial, but no matter what i do, it WILL NOT DIAL OUT, it fucken refuses to!

so basically it hears the dialtone but will not NOT NOT dial, it picks up the phone and listens to the dialtone until it times out and goes BEEP - BEEP- BEEP!

then it says LINE BUSY ARSEHOLE YEAH TRY TO FIX ME NOW, YOU CANT BEAT ME BECAUSE IM A CHRISTIAN MODEM I HAVE GOD ON MY SIDE! DONT THINK I DIDNT SEE ALL THAT SATANIK DETH METLZ ON YOU MEDIA PLAYER BECAUSE I DID.

So yeah anyone that can help it be much appreciated.

as a computer repairman<hardware,assembly....sorry>, new to the proffesion,i suggest you buy......a satanic modem or maybe a burn an effigy of bill gates and sacrifice a small defenseless animal in front of the computer...

hmmm all good ideas, thats what i thought but then i did them and my computer tried to excorcise me! what an arsehole, im not even satanic, its my music. god is stronger than satan. ps, this is a brand new modem and i've done everything i can possibly think of. maybe i should pray or get the modem baptised or like fucken make a holy shrine/alter on the tower? anyway repair man coming soon maybe he helps. im thinking the dialler on the modem must be fucked but its fucken brand new and i DID NOT break it when i installed it.

I just called a preist/withdoctor he's gonna check it out too
