POD xt live problems... Fagging fag.

Fucking, I still have the fucking feedback problems.

You might remember me earlier, here.

Well, I still have fucking feedback problems. I'm so fucking frustrated right now.

Seriously,

-me

Ok. So the lead channel on my amp is fucked. Clean is 'not'... but it might be. Anyhow, lead is fucked as it has fucking shitloads of feedback (static) just by itself, whereas clean does not, it does has some at high volume though, but that's to be expected.

Anyway, I'm trying to keep this short. I bought a POD xt live, as when I used a shitty ZOOM multi fx pedal at drummers house, it was ok at high volumes. Guitar is also fine by itself in a mate's Marshall, and played a gig with it.

Except, my neck pickup has more feedback than bridge. I've pretty much given up on this though. I bought a new pup (Jazz) to replace PAF which had same problem. I've seriously rewired so many time.. new pots.. new switch... nothing. Fucking slut.

Anyhow, the fucking POD. Feedbacks SO MUCH without a gate on. With a gate, it's fucking gay. Tone compromised, Lead tone goodbye. This is because I need to adjust the Thresh and Decay settings a lot, to get rid of all the cunt feedback. For rhythm, I'm left with ok tone, but lifeless palm mutes. Lead is just completely fucked.

Anyway I don't want to fucking compromise to a fucking computer.

It's my POD that is fucked... mainly. Not connected to amp, just headphones, it feedbacks all the same.
So, it's either broken, or I need to adjust my settings. I have my output mode on Combo Poweramp (but I have a Bandit, anyhow it sounds the best), Output to Amp, Level about 3/4... and input on PAD (as I have 'high gain pickups').

I should also mention I bought this "new", but I doubt its new. It came wrapped in newspapers, without a manual, box, or anything; just the unit and the power supply. That's it. It was quite dusty too.

SO HELP ME PLEASE!!! I'M FUCKING GEAR-CURSED. EVERYTHING I HAVE FUCKING BOUGHT, IS FUCKED. I MEAN EVERYTHING!!!!!!!

CUNT FUCK PUNJAB DICK SLUTHEAD FAG AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAADKUFAWGFKJBVSADIHFVSDIJFGSIJDD

You using too much treble on that shit? Try cutting a lot of it down, as well as some gain and let us know if it still happens. It could be the dirtyness may have made it noisy, but usually in that case you get cracking sounds not feedback...

Try to lower the effect of the noise gate so that it wont take away that crunchy sound.

Its not the patch. It feedbacks on almost everything, including stock patches and minimally on clean.

Sell it and buy a good tube combo. Like Crate Stealth(LJ designed), Peavey Ultra, Triumph, or Blue Voodoo.

Or if you simply want to use the thing as a preamp for recording, get a Sansamp/Tech 21 GT2 floor preamp and you'll still have $ left over for a good effect box or two.

It's what I would do. If I don't get satisfactory sounds after a few weeks out of something I sell it.

Lol yeah.

I dunno about fucking selling. I'm so pissed right now. It seems the more money I spend, the louder the feedback gets. I just tried my guitar straight into a BC Rich 12w amp and feedback still bad. I'm gonna put a pickup into my old Warlock a.s.a.p and test shit out. I am pissed!

Fuck everything!
