Stoner/Desert rock
Reccomend me some bands? I've only heard Kyuss and I'm interested in looking into the genre.

Desert Rock isn't a genre.
However, try White Zombie, everything from La Sexorcisto and PRE-La Secorcisto. [91 and backwards]. Do not listen to Astro Creep or any of that shit. Also, check a guitar pro tab I did for quick access maybeh.
Also - Corrosion of Conformity

You might like Fu Manchu or Clutch if you like Kyuss.
Also Mondo Generator and old Queens of the Stone Age.

Some bands you might like are Monster Magnet, Orange Goblin, sHeavy, Truckfighters, Nebula, Fu Manchu, Yawning Man and Scissorfight.
You can check them all out @ www.stonerrock.com mp3-jukebox.
Edit: Damn, I made it look like an advertisement.

Try The Desert Sessions, the fruits of an unholy amount of collaborating artists' labour including Josh Homme amongst others.

Ok think about this for one second - Stoner/Southern Rock/Metal thread. Why the fuck am I going to reccommend electro dance/disco pseudo 'pretending to be industrial' rock cum nu metal?
And Make The Die is a flawless album front to back, as is La Sexor, in my opinion.

Just "tagging" this thread so I can easily find it in my post history. Don't have time to check out the recommendations now.

Downloaded their debut album. Fuckin' awesome - I really love "Godless Faith", especially the chorus.
I had known of Yawning Man before, and they are indeed fucking brilliant. Everyone must check them out:
www.myspace.com/yawningman
I can thoroughly recommend Pentagram (American version, with Bobby Liebling) for classic Sabbath-influenced stoner rock, they've released tons of quality shit.

Spirit Caravan with Scott "Wino" Weinrich is one of the greatest stoner metal bands of all time, again Sabbath-influenced. You owe it to yourself to check them out, and to check out anything involving Wino - he's an amazing vocalist.

desert rock.. when i think of desert rock, there is basically one band: Kyuss. i recommend the "sky valley" album, hands down. other than that, i am not too familiar with this genre. maybe check out some of the stuff on the Southern Lord label, like Goatsnake.
i don't know if early white zombie quite fits in, but "la sexorcisto" was a good album.. and i got quite a few bucks selling my copy of "make them die slowly" on eBay years ago.

actually, Kyuss has not really been on the map since the "green machine" video was aired on the original Headbanger's Ball (and probably Beavis and Butthead, too) back in the early 90s. and Tool later covered their song "demon cleaner" but otherwise desert rock is nothing new. although when i was checking out that stuff even back then, i had no idea what it was called.. it just sounded good.

Datura
Electric Wizard
Drunk Horse
That's all I can think of right now, I haven't been listening to much stoner rock lately. Mainly because I haven't been getting stoned :-)

What the hell is this stupid shit?
Guns N Roses isn't stoner or desert rock, what ever you call the type of music. Then, you start naming off albums. Morningrise by Opeth, Blackwater Park by Opeth, Hate Crew Deathroll by Children of Bodom, Hatebreeder by Children of Bodom, Glorious Burden by Iced Earth, and Whoracle by In Flames.
What do you mean?
