I would most definately say that after listening to that band, they sound NOTHING like melodic death metal, and when i mean nothing, i mean absolutely not one aspect.

I disagree very strongly.
They, like many other Canadian bands (Martyr, Beneath The Massacre, Despised Icon(not sure if these guys are Canadian)) seem to be bridging the gap between Death Metal and Metalcore. Whether it be vocally, breakdownally, or structurally, I hear much influence of metalcore. It's kinda gay, in a way, but still fucking excellent, in a way. Except those fucking Martyr vocals...FUCK.
Anyhow, through this belief of mine, I hear much melody. Fucking eveywhere. I am aware, tmfreak, that you listen to more melodic metal, but just because this is not as melolic you cant claim that they sound "NOTHING like melodic death metal, and when i mean nothing, i mean absolutely not one aspect."
But then again, I could be biased the other way since I lik de BR00T4L ZZOUNZ, so their melody could be more prominent for me. But then again, I listen to all genres of death metal.
I would list some exemplifying songs but I can't be fucked.

Well problematic while you said bridging the gap between metalcore and death metal i could only agree with you 100%+ because thats almost exactly what it sounds with. I do listen to melo death and it just doesn't have any of the things that generally make a band melodic death.
I mean compare the sounds of :
At The Gates
In Flames
Dark Tranquillity
Arch Enemy (a lil rougher sound though)
there are plenty of others but these are the "main bands"
The band that was posted is definately alot more "brutal" than what you would hear in melo death, not to mention an abundance of blast beats which are almost rare.
I'm not bashing the band, as other than the vocals (imo) sounds pretty solid, its just not really my cup of tea.

Vehemence was medolic dm, but they were one of the few bands to remember the "death metal' in their genre.
Neuraxis are grindcore with some "melodic" parts..just like Misery Index.

That video clip would have been even funnier had there have been some cunt hardcore dancing on the open floor before the two sides piled in!!!
Circle pits eh? You know I'd be the stupid twat going the wrong way against the flow of traffic! I mean I was always the idiot stage diving who either found the gap in the crowd and met the floor or got on stage just as the song ended so had to stand there like a tool or dive in as the band took swigs of water or before the big fat roadie shoved me in!!!

YOUR THAT FUCKER!!! hahah
at the thrash shows i go to theres always circle pits and theres that one dude that goes the wrong way. and that guy gets LOOKED DOWN UPON by everyone, as if he just raped a girl. metalheads are here take going against the flow of the pit very very seriously and almost personal , i think its funny as fuck

I couldn't agree more, it's just that you said that you don't hear any aspect of melody. I didn't know you were referring to melodic death metal. Meh, oh well.
Btw that 'wall of death' was not very productive.
