Lol, not bad but I would have to smack the kid for flying the middle figure at his age My 3 y.o. girl is getting better by the day at drums but she is not understanding timing as well as my 9 month old girl who kicks her legs or smacks her hands on stuff in perfect, and I mean perfect, time with most music. Its an amazing sight. Maybe I'll start the 3 y.o. on strings soon because I think the younger one is going to be a natural drummer.

Mrs Soulinsane does violin and piano very well. She can make you want to cry with how awsome she plays music, but I've learned she sucks ass at teaching what she knows. I wish she could better explain what she knows.

These guys are 7 year olds playing (trying to play) metal. The idea is much cooler than the reality. Because, if you watch the video (and especially if you keep in mind that there's a band out there made up of musicians who've been playing together longer than your average 'tabber's been alive who play this song every day), you realize that they sound kinda shitty. Kinda like, well, two 7 year old kids playing Sepultura.

It is much more entertaining than watchng what most 7 year old kids do. They already have a better taste in music than 99% of their age group. Sure they are not near as good as any of the stuff we listen to, but they could be if they started this early and keep up with it.

That kid is also vocalising and playing at the same time, which is a whole 'nother ability all its own. Sure he's not singing well but there's no way I could hold that against him ( He probably does'nt even have pubes yet ). Wish I started that young. Yeah its not good objectively, but I know that when I was their age I was addicted to Sega Genesis.

When Mozart was seven he was performing his own compositions in the Imperial Courts of Europe. When Orson Welles was still a toddler he could speak intelligently (if emptily) on music and literature. I know kids their age who play chess with Kasparov or who can cook a more-than-competent meal by themselves. Give a kid something to do at a young age and he'll get good at it. But this is not impressive. This is seven year olds sounding seven.

There's always some old grouch putting the 'kids' down! I bet you put pitch forks through footballs that come over your fence!

Compared to most kids who spend their time either playing video games and watching the latest Power Rangers series, or playing with barbies and talking about who is the cutest male pop star (oh those were the days ), I would be proud to have these kids as my children. Not because they like metal, but because they are committing themselves to something at an earlier age. Most kids these days actually have to LEARN to be committed to something they like, and most grow up to be these flaky, non-committing, apathetic teens who soon grow up to living empty lives, and not because they have to like some people, but they choose to. I tell you, these kids are going to grow up and be great, and if it isn't music, it'll be something. They won't just go through the motions in life and live by routine when they become adults.

Actually, the probably won't. These kids aren't untypically precocious for Argentinian kids. They grew up in less rarefied air and can breathe better for it, but so can everybody else around them. If you hadn't been raised as you were, maybe you'd have had a more impressive childhood. Still, their abilities only seem impressive because you all had unimpressive childhoods. Which is sad all around.
