didn't see anything about this here and thought you might find it interesting.

the military took over the government. seems as though they've got it fairly under control though. honestly, i don't know much about their pm or the situation over there that would cause a coup but i'm sure i'll be hearing about it all day at work tomorrow since my roommate listens to the bbc world news online.

many countries have done this. This happened in egypt and "Congo" not too long ago and some other various places. Definately some countries that have some SERIOUS internal coruption issues.

from what someone living in thailand posted on another website "Thailand has had 9 constitutions and 19 coups in the last 75 years."
