Pacifist almost got it, it's a fucking top song, but it just sounds a bit 'metalcore' and 'hardcore' at times, as in a kinda melody thing, bah, it's hard to explain, the single aspect of that song I didn't like.
Lamb's is cool too.

Well since you asked, i'll give my opinion on it, after another listen.
The eerie clean intro and outro is cool, but the actual riffing I found to be bland and average. I listen to tech death, and all that other similar bulshit, so maybe this is why my opinion is quite against.
Slow drums, repetetive riffing and large sections just dont do it for me.
If I was to enjoy a song of that stature, It would require a long (bout 1 min), emotional solo. Well, the lead in your solo was about 12 seconds long, and just didnt do much for me. It was a good start noneless, but would be great to hear it go through 2 or 3 modes, maybe even change key.
Well yeah dude, i'm a tad harsh, and someone will probably now come along and tell me that my opinion is wrong, so be it. |
