by the title i mean either of two ways something "disappears". im pretty sure i just "lost" my pendrive, which has all of my pictures from the past half year, a couple of cds i dont own, and many other files and random things that are very important to me. im going crazy and i tore my room apart. right now ive actually calmed down to type.

what are some things that have just disappeared from your house, car, etc. heres a little list of some of my stuff.

digital camera
cell phone
wallet (with over 100 dollars)
over 5 cds
games
N64 controller
wrist watch

MY FUCKING PASSPORT! Which I actually lost, it didn't get stolen.

Other than that, the only thing I remember was "losing" a bunch of basketball mags and tons of football/basketball figurines when I was young. My cousin probably stole 'em.

Do you have a roomate? If yes, check him into rehabe and make him pay you for your shit. How long of a period of time was this in?

I've lost my share of shit. CD players, Cds, patch chords, tuners, picks, coats, etc etc. Actually, I just remembered about loosing my entire CD collection, my Danelectro pedal and my bookbag last week! FUCK THAT PISSES ME OFF!!!!

that list accumulated over some time. there are other less important things i wont mention. about you mentioning paying for the shit, its not always that simple. whoever took my camera also took the pictures inside, which can never be replaced. and im positive i didnt lose the camera. i saw it on my dresser around 3PM, some people came over, it was gone by 9PM. knowing who took it now wouldnt help one damn thing. the stress it gave me for the following days cant be erased.

ive already gone through my entire room twice today looking for the pendrive. and i plan to look even more tomorrow.

I've lost a few cds(Reign in Blood..) over the years and oddly enough autographs.(Jim Carey, Patrick Roy)

I don't know where all of my old systems and games that I didn't sell, I think my godamn parents sold my NES/SNES after they divorced to get rid of it.(As well as all of my toys)

I've lost two dvd's do to letting my gf borrow them..godamn careless.

I lost my second favourite t-shirt, My Dying Bride - Songs Of Darkness, Words Of Light. Um, weekly public transport tickets which are worth 24 AUD each on a regular basis, books, I lent CDs out and never got them back, my underwear and socks keep disapearing in the laundry (!), sheet music, small items. I never lost anything excessively big.

Since this thread is partially about material loss from the deeds of other people, talking about things others broke is also apropriate. Some idiot once broke my bed by jumping onto it really hard like a fucking child! The same guy trew his boot at me in my room during band prac and left a huge black stain on the wall, which I couldn't wash off.

Well, I mostly lose things all the time, but the last time something got stolen..
I got realy pissed off:

There was this sportsday on my highschool a couple of years back.. everyone had to put their important stuff in the lockerroom, but they told us not to worry because they would be locked..

well, some teacher cunt DIDN'T lock the fucking room, and some other cunts from a different school stole EVERYONES mobile and wallet.
That was a nice suprise..

And what makes it even more infuriating: the school wasn't insured, and nobody got compesated.. I had like 200 euros of dammage (passport, money, mobile, etc..)

it is a huge disrespect to steal a cd collection. a tv is replaced so easy, but the cds can be sometimes impossible to replace (rare, etc.). im not saying it is ok that he took the tv though. what a dick.

Alright...mmmaaybe i spoke a little too soon. All of these things seem to be really...really painful. Comparing them is like trying to say which brutal death metal band is the heaveist. I guess it just comes down to personal..."preference" I guess. Getting decapitated and getting curbed are more universal than the male genitalia stuff though, seeing as females dont have the equipment to experience it. But they have a whole other world of painful stuff to experience. Maybe we should have a seperate thread on human suffering...
