I pose unto thee dwellers of the infamous Metal Tablature forum a question. A wonderment, if you will. But first, a story.
My room is at a decent room temperature. As long as the window is closed, it's fine. Not too cold, not too hot. Even with the bed slightly over the only floor vent , it's decent. Air circulation isn't too good, but it's enough. I don't find myself sweating a whole lot whilst awake in my room.
Then I go to bed. I wake up in the middle of the night, and I'm sweating really bad. I know it isn't the conforter making me hot because even if I wore clothes when I slept before I'd never sweat. Yes, I sleep in the buff. Which makes it even more strange that I would sweat.
Well, since it's the middle of the night, I'm too fucking tired to worry about it, so I just go to sleep. I wake up in the morning, and my sheets are all damp from sweat.
I even looked this up on wikipedia and actually found something about "Sleep Hyperhidrosis." I try not to be a hypochondriac, but it's just very strange something like this would happen. And no, I shouldn't be worried about it if it happened one time. So I'm concentrating all my insecurity and worrying about the last month that it has been occuring.
The question I ask you is if any of you have had to deal with this problem. Did it turn out to be something serious or was it just something to do with the weather? Should I see a doctor about it? Did you?
And no, this topic is not about peeing in your sleep; let's leave the kinky stuff in the Nicest tits thread, right?

Try keeping a fan on and use only one thin blanket at night. Dont drink too much a few hours before bed either. Does that happen every night? I havent really heard of that before.

I have a sweating "problem", I sweat considerably more than most... I've been known to go through more than 2 gallons of water in less than 8 hours. I love it when its anywhere from 55-65 degrees when I sleep, but since I can't afford an AC I leave my window open at night, with one fan on me, and one box fan that pushes air throughout my house. I don't know if I have over active sweat glands or something... or if that's even possible... but yeah that's my two cents.

I did try using the thin blanket. I still was drenched.
And I did have a fan in my room and it took up a little too much room... although now that I've moved my keyboard I should have some room. I'll try that.

Haha, think so? I did get heat stroke one time at work, I was welding in the rafters of a magazine manufacturing building near where I live, and it was probably 100 - 110 degrees where I was, and I had to get down off the lift to go to the bathroom to throw up. But other than that, nah. As long as I drink water all day when I work, I don't get sick.

so you consume 2 gallons of water in a day?
I drink nothing but water all day at work and when i get home (plus 1 coffee early in the morning before work) and that equals about 3 litres a day, which is less then half of what you said you perspire. Just to point that out...
2 gallons is 8 liters

I have a chinese friend who sweats in fucking -20c weather..by doing no physical activity. The guy is a sweat machine, he always wears a head band. 
You could have overactive sweat glands? Perhaps you should see your doctor.

why are you guys freaking out about drinking 2 gallons of water in 8 hours. ive probably come close to that when i worked in a chemical plant, and my friend who builds cabinets drinks more than 2 gallons in a day.
about the sweating, ive never had that problem, but im sure a doctor could help.

Comforters can be stuffed with polyfil, batting, or down of some sort. It's the top covering on a bed over the sheets. Duvet is real darn close only the cover doesn't come off.

Ya, once I was sleeping and I woke up, went to my fridge and chugged a bag and a half of milk, without puking. That's about 2.6 litres. And I was still thirsty as hell. I couldn't sleep untill I had made a jug of juice and drank half of it. It was weird.

doctors are useless sometimes. i took my girlfriend to the hospital once cause she had a real bad headache that wouldnt go away all day so the put her in a bed and were gonna give her an IV, im what the hell are you doing, give her some tylenol 3 and lets go. They did and it worked.

3 or 4 asprin gets rid of my headaches. I also use a rice sock.

Does anybody know if it is dangerous to eat bones? If I'm eating meat that is still connected to the bone i usually just bite right through it, chew it for a minute or two, then swallow it. Tastes good!
